They just keep piling it up on Michael Vick. Now he's been ordered to fork over more than a million bucks for a failed wine bar he tried to open.

Court docs allege Vick and buddy Gerald Jenkins borrowed more than $1.1 million in May of 2006 from Wachovia Bank to open a joint called Atlantic Wine & Spirits. In August of '07, Vick and his cohort failed to make the $8,000 monthly interest payment. Wachovia then declared the loan was in default because "the prospect for repayment was substantially impaired."

A 23-month sentence definitely puts a cork in Vick's ability to pay those bills.

32. Vick is trash, but I've actually been to the Tasting Room for dinner in Atlanta, and it's got fantastic food and an unbelievable wine list. It's just too bad Dr. Jenkins can't pick his business partners as well as he picks out a wine list. Don't lump the Tasting Room in with Vick, who is clearly not a great person, because the Tasting Room has had some dang good food the last few times I've gone.

While i think dog fighting is disgusting and he should have to pay,lets put it in perspective.Dany Heatley,a hockey player ,was driving drunk and racing his Ferrari,and his passenger/teammate was killed,and yet he served NO jail time.So vick set up a dogfigting ring,which again is wrong and disguting,Heatley killed a man,with no jail time.There is something wrong with that picture.

38. This is another non issue, to those who want to torture Vick or have him rot in hell or whatever, please get a life!!! Some people really should not have an opportunity to be heard! America is the land of bliss because ignorant people and their opinions run rampant. Shut up, grab another beer and try to live your own life, not dictate someone else's. Food for thought. IMHO :-)
