NFL Star: Wal-Mart Left Kids Out in the Cold

Andre JohnsonNFL superstar Andre Johnson claims his charity got stiffed by Wal-Mart -- it all involves water and ice. Yes, ice.

Johnson ordered 750 bicycles to be given to underprivileged kids at an event sponsored by the Andre Johnson Foundation -- in return for the purchase, Wal-Mart agreed to donate water and ice for the May 3 event.

But there was a problem with the order, so Johnson ended up buying fewer bikes than planned. Wal-Mart countered by not giving the water and ice as promised. That's cold.

Wal-Mart is trying to rectify the situation. They tell TMZ, "We are reaching out to the Andre Johnson Foundation as we speak to rectify the situation. It's disappointing that this happened."

79. This is a shame but these are the things this country stands for anymore I guess. Big Business runs the country and kids don't have to stand to say the pledge anymore. Before you know it we will all have to speak spanish and not english, but there is no place like AMERICA in the world so if you don't like it pack up and find someplace else to live.

85. If any of you pricks had your hand in the wal-mart fortune, you wouldn't give a damn about "how they treat their poor little employees OR customers". And if wal-mart is really that bad, then they would have gone out of business years ago. Wal-mart will always be around whether you like it or not, so stop crying about it. 89. How do we know Andree Johnson is telling the truth? We are so quick to condemn. I don't buy any of Wal-Mart's China products, but I save at least 30% off my grocery bill at WM. Without WM I would be eating hamburger meat instead of steak.
