At least someone cares enough to pay cold hard cash for pregnant bride Ashlee Simpson's wedding pics!

Sources tell us People mag is shelling out "well over" one milllll-ion dollars (yes, as in seven figures) for pictures of Ash and guylinered Pete Wentz. That's probably more than she's made -- total -- from her "singing."

For their part, the mag says, "We're thrilled that celebrities continue to choose PEOPLE as the place to share their most intimate photos. We do not comment on specifics of any deals."

19. Does anyone really care about those two. I saw her sing for the first time on Dancing with the Stars. If she was on American Idol, she would never have made it. Does she really sell records? Is it the Simpson name that carries her, although I don't know why it should. Good Marketing I guess.

21. I wish everyone would just quit paying attention to these no-talent lip-synching people. Why in the world would Ashley Simpson ever garner enough interest to be worth $1,000,000? What has she ever done that has been artistically successful? I try to avoid stories about people like this (i.e. the whole Paris - Lindsay - Britney trilogy) but when will these magazines realize there are more interesting & compelling stories out there to report? Talent should be a measure of success instead of just being photographed in the right place at the right time.

23. Who are the Simpsons and why should we care? Both Simpsons are the most UNTALENTED, FAKE, and UNATTRACTIVE females in entertainment. Ashlee and Jessica are both plastic looking and have the personality of rocks. Clearly Jessica's "career" is dying...hair extension by hair extension...thank god! ASHLEE has no voice and clearly relies on the mixing process to clean-up her recordings. Live performances (Not SNL) demonstrate a weak, pitchy, whiney voice!

These two are the perfect example of how Hollywood packages a product...ASHLEE and JESSICA... and sells it. Their publicists ensure the are photgraphed alot and included in every tabloid magaizine.

As for more than a $1,000,000 for any picture of ASHLEE is ridiculous. I know I'm not buying that magaizine!

27. i can't speak on Ashlee's behalf but everyone here is seriously under estimating Pete. I know for fact that he has hundreds and possibly thousands (or more) of scarily-obsessed, stalker-like, teenage fan girls who will cry their eyes out then rush out to buy any magazine with pictures of him in it.
