Nick's Tears -- Crock of Fakery?

TMZ has obtained the extensive trove of letters and testimonials filed by the Hogan family to try to get Nick a soft sentence.
Nick Hogan
In his appeal, Nick's dad -- Hulk Hogan -- claims reality show "Hogan Knows Best" is "scripted" and that Nick isn't the wild kid people see on TV. He barely addresses Nick's insane driving and insists the whole thing was an "accident."

Nick writes that the ordeal since August 26 has been difficult and that he's a changed man -- but he still doesn't know how to spell. ("Diffiucult" and "chanegd," for the record.)

Also Included were letters from victim John Graziano to the Hogans -- written before the accident -- while he was serving in Iraq.

18. Are you kidding me? Nick only received 8 months for what he did? Why was that not heavily publicized? That is ridiculous! The poor family of the victim who will NEVER be whole again. That is really, really unbelievable. Nick's parents ought to the be SHOT!

19. Oh cry me a freaking river!!! Nick's a changed man and HIS life has been difficult since August 26?????? No sweetie....JOHN GRAZIANO is a changed man, and his life will NEVER BE THE SAME!!! Shut up you little punk and take your punishment like a man!

20. So i guess none of you haters read the letter from johns mom. It is her son in a vegetative state and even she can see that nick is suffering too. Why don't all you haters who think nick should be crucified just admit that your real problem with nick is that he is young and rich? Your post reek of jealousy. Get over yourselves and leave nick and john alone.

21. The little ba$tard should thank his lucky stars he got a mere 8 months. My own son got 2 years ( and he's still inprisoned) for retail theft, and no one is in a coma because of it. Spoiled rich stoopid kids. He got less than he deserved!!

22. Nick always appeared a little too arrogant on their TV show. It seemed his parents treated him like he was an adult when he was only a teenager! Indulging your kids does not help them ... maybe his jail time will show him that he's not SPECIAL.

23. Nick's gettin off easy imo. people go to jail for alot longer for a whole lot less everyday. guess it pays to be a celebrity child

24. The letters are from boot camp on Parris Island -- not Iraq.

I really feel for John - but wonder why his parents are now suing? I don't get that after reading the mom's loving email about the hogan's

26. TMZ staffers-You're falling short of your job. Where's the violin music as we read the letters?

27. This whole thing is disgusting..the way Hulk Hogan Never addresses Nicks driving...So What if he was close to John..He killed him with his car. He should be locked up for much longer; not have his daddy hire as many lawyers as necessary to try and get him out!! This kid is a criminal of the worst kind. Not to mention the many tickets he has received previous to this crash. How long is his daddy gonna protect him?!!

28. They need to just let him do his time, he got off easy. This family is so damn selfish.

29. So Nick has ALWAYS made the right decision???? Wrong!!! He chose to act like an A**HOLE behind the wheel of a car (and no it wasn't an accident) and ruined his friends life. The judge blew it, however. I think Nick should have been sentenced to care for John 24/7 until John has completely recovered. If Nick had to spend the rest of his life caring for John, it might stop some other morons from behaving the same way.

30. You know what i feel for the Hogans because they are famous and if this was just your everyday ordnary joe it would have never got any notice at all. The Hogans have hearts and i know they feel bad for this. I get mad at this whole deal because nobody held a gun to John,s head he rode with Nick alot so he is free white and over 18 he made a choice over and over. Nobody really thinks an accident can happen to them even if they are the best of the best. Nick should not have been careless but it happened a lesson for everyone. To bad Nick has to learn the hard way. I do feel for him and all involved in this horrible event. I feel as i said more for the mothers of John and Nick. It is sad. Nick PRAY! I am sorry this had to happen. People love to judge others it makes them feel better all together. John is better off dead. Iam sorry he is a vegtable now and a burden and also it has to be draining to the family. I hate to say this but unless a true miracle takes place he by Doctors diagnosis ,John will never get well. To sad.
