Hook-ups
Yep, I'm Getting Married

Well, she's gone and done it. Ellen's gonna get hitched.

A spy in the audience of this afternoon's taping of the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" tells us that after Ellen mentioned today's California Supreme Court ruling striking down the state's ban on gay marriage, she surprised everyone and announced that she was going to tie the knot with longtime girlfriend, actress Portia de Rossi.

Portia was in the crowd and after she made the announcement, the studio audience went wild, giving the two a huge standing O.

The show will air tomorrow.

64. Kelli: "Rot in hell your quers"???? Grow up!! Maybe you can't understand LOVE IS LOVE but do you have to insult what you don't understand? Maybe someday you'll understand love is not a sex - it is what it is. And maybe someday you'll grow up and accept what you can't understand. MAYBE.............I'll pray for your judgment for He shall not judge lest he be judged.

66. I am sure they are both very nice people, but marriage is a union between one man and one woman. Deep down inside we all know it is true.

68. There is a ballot measure with the November election that will void this ruling if it passes, so this is not over. The measure will effectively put a ban on gay marriage into the California Constitution. The gay and lesbian groups are on one side and the religious groups are on the other side. The lawyers are not celebrating because they know if gays and lesbians marry in thirty days- when the ruling takes effect- but the ballot measure passes later in the year, the marriage licenses will be worthless. If the ballot measure fails, the case is headed to the U.S. Supreme Court. The game ain't over yet, it's only halftime. I don't care who wins.

71. To give sanction to homosexual marriage would be to give approval to that lifestyle, which the Bible clearly and consistently condemns as sinful. I believe that Christians should stand firmly against the idea of gay marriage / same sex marriage. Marriage is ordained by God to be between a man and a woman (Genesis 2:21-24; Matthew 19:4-6). Homosexual marriage is a perversion of the institution of marriage and an offense to the God who created marriage. God forbids and condemns homosexuality, so He clearly is opposed to homosexual marriage. As Christians, we are to seek to share the love of God and salvation through Christ with homosexuals. We are to be loving and kind to homosexuals, while at the same time not condoning their sinful lifestyle.
