46. You ever wonder what her court appointed lawyer is doing each day all this time to be earning $10 000 week? Makes me think pa was happy to pay him anything he wanted so long as he continued to provide incompetent representation to Brit and to never challenge his conservatorship on her behalf...it is very odd that her own "court appointed" lawyer hasn't tried to overturn this farce of a conservatorship.

First of all, Robyn is not Catholic,second, Mel's career is not ruined, he's making THE EDGE OF DARKNESS and I guarantee it will be a huge hit because tons of people are waiting to see Mel on screen again and if a recovering alcoholic can't help others then why do we in society listen to what and of them have to say? If this was happening anywhere else, and a conservator had taken his charge out of the country and forced her to spend a weekend with a drunk misogynist, anti-semite, the Court would step in. Mel Gibson is a criminal and drives drunk, putting innocent people's lives at stakes. At least one of his kids does the same, all in Jamie Spear's grandkids backyard, and hte commissioner thinks she's in good hands. Jeez, please don't ever protect me by forcing me to spend time with antisemetic, women disrespecting drunks.

I live in KY and Brit's Dad is no hillbilly. Give me a break. You probably have no idea that people in KY actually work and raise children that turn out well. A late to bloom into a dad maybe, but not a dumb hillbilly. Brit needs an intervention, but I doubt it will happen to her while in the sun with Mel and wife. She needs help from a real physcologist.
If the only life you have ever known has been Hollywood stardom, it is conceivable that you would not know anything about being married, or a mother. She is the one who needs to get her head out of the sand of Malibu and grow up. Her children need a mother they can depend on. And for God's sake, let someone else drive her around. She has no driving abilities. She has two beautiful children, who are Hollywood children, what is next for them.? We should be concerned about those children other than who Brit goes on a trip with. No one can change another, she must change herself. There is lots of help out there, she has to seek it out on her own. It boils down to, do you want to be a good mother or not? Can you grow up and not be needy of attention from the press all the time. By the way, I have worked for child services for many years, most moms who behave so badly, hardly ever change. I do wish her good luck and to find a way back to her family.

Besides, would we even know that this happened if Mel was helping someone that wasn't as famous as Britney? I highly doubt that. Leave them alone and wish them both the best.
