As an American whose family came to New York from Wales and England in 1659 and whose ancestors have fought and died in every major war since the French and Indian Wars to say I am appalled and embarassed that my fellow "Americans" are posting such racist, bigoted, un-Christian filth in support of this Nazi gigolo is an understatement. You people clearly have no idea of what America is about, at least not the America I was raised in and taught to believe in. I often look back on the 1950's and 1960's and wonder in horrified amazement how it was possible that people were hung and burned in this country simply for the color of their skin, after reading some of the above comments, now I know how it was possible. You people are disgusting.
The times I have heard Michelle Obama speak, she is articulate, well spoken and quite gracious. I voted for her husband in the primary and am thrilled that I will have the chance to vote for him in the general election. He will bring this country back on it's correct course after veering to the far right for far too long, he will re-establish our credibility and respect abroad and maybe, just maybe by the end of his second term those truths that we are supposed to hold as self-evident, that "all men [and women]are created equal" and that regardless of their race, religion, country of national origin or sexual orientation and that 'they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienble rights that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness' maybe just maybe that doctine will be the law of the land.

My family is multicultural. We love and respect each other and that is why I would never ever vote for Obama. The agnostic anti American views of his preacher, his wife and himself turned off the switch of that minor interest that I had for him at the very beginning of his compaign. Being articulate has nothing to do with being loving, caring for people of all color, culture and protective of the only country in the world that you call home. Michelle Obama did an incomprehensible damage to her husband's compaign. Damage control, apologies won't help. He already lost my vote.

i agree with what he said about al sharpton, al sharpton needs to shut up already, minorities have it easier than anyone else in this country. They can get food stamps and even jobs. Companies are more willing to hire a minority over a white person, because of affirmitave action. I know al sharpton knows this, but like a-hole said, he makes his living from this. So the government basically gives him what he wants just to shut him up. I also agree that michelle obama is racist, but it ok for her to be racist, because she is a "minority". Nobody wants to speak up about that issue. I probably sound like a racist, but let me tell you ... i am not. I'm just trying say what i see.
