Nobody Screws with Jack Bauer

He wasn't torturing terrorists or saving L.A. from yet another nuclear bomb, but Kiefer Sutherland did his part to make the world a better place yesterday by snapping at a security guard who kept telling his golf cart driver to drive away, almost getting a fan run over.

16. while i wouldn't say kiefer bitched them out, i would say he did correct the security guard. what i heard kiefer say was "Dont tell him to do that". while that's not exactly bitching out i would say kiefer is reaquainting the guard with what is and isn't his responsiblity.... ie: telling kiefers driver to drive away isn't his job nor place.

well done kiefer.

18. @efee: it was just a fan trying to get a pictures with Kiefer.

And he didn't yell or even raise his voice, but he DID tell the security guy off. In the first place I think for putting that girl in danger. As you can see, Kiefer has his arm out of the cart and around her back, he pulls it back twice to keep from throwing the girl off her feet. Then he tells the driver to stop and adds "I'm getting out." The way he does, looking that guy straight in the eyes and indeed "telling him off" by stating he shouldn't have done what he did, I take it the guard felt a little sweaty around the back of his shirt. Not because "Oh My God, Jack Bauer is coming at me", but simply because he got busted and put back in place.

Way to go Kiefer!!!
You're always a sweetheart and you care about your fans.
We love ya!!

19. I'm the fan in the video. The video actually doesn't do justice to the situation...it was really tense with all the security people being jerks and everything. The golf cart actually rolled over my foot. He was very upset, and definitely raised his voice telling the driver to stop more than once before he finally got off and went over to the security guy. It was definitely the way they described it. He was so great to do that for me!

20. Not a fan-

You've got it wrong. I never "imposed myself into the golf cart unsolicited" In fact, when I saw him he had just signed autographs for two other girls not far from myself. I literally happened to be walking by in Central Park, and when I noticed him I said that I was a huge fan of his show and asked for a picture. I didn't "jump past security"; his cart was on a commonly used path in the middle of Central Park. He said sure, I could take a picture if I hurried, so that's when I walked over to the cart. Despite him agreeing to the picture, the security people kept ignoring his instructions to wait and kept insisting the driver keep going (during which he drove over my foot when I was only standing where Kiefer Sutherland suggested I stand). The whole situation would have been over in a few seconds had they not kept telling the driver to go when he wanted to stop for the picture. So as much as I appreciate you assuming I'm a "wack job fan", you really need to get your facts straight.
