TMZ told you first about Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo being dunzo, and at least one pal of Tony's says that Joe Simpson sent him running for the end zone.

The Chicago Sun-Times says that Papa Joe was offering "unsolicited advice to Tony on his career, endorsement opportunities and things that have nothing to do with him dating Jessica." What's more, Tony had "really had it" with all the pap-insanity and felt that his relationship was "distracting" him from football.

But this is weird: apparently Tony will still escort Jess to Ashlee's sell-out wedding this weekend.

AshPete Get Ghetto Wedding Schwag


Speaking of that wedding, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz got their first gift from fellow rocker Travis Barker, and it's ghetto. Seriously ghetto.

As in, a Ghettoblaster-brand boom box. Only 400 players have been made, according to XXL (see below), and the former Blink-182drummer has been giving out some of them to other artist friends, like Rick Ross, The Game and collaborator Pharrell Williams.

No word on whether the box will provide entertainment at tomorrow's wedding. The guests no doubt would welcome it.

Owen to Kate –- Just Me, Myself, and Me


The on-off saga of Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson (O-Kate? Son-Son?) is off again.

People reports that the split "was a pretty bad breakup" and that Owen, at least, "doesn't want to dwell on it ... He wants to put it behind him." No matter – both Owen and Kate have been out and about rockin' the nightlife, Kate in Boston, and Wilson in NYC.

We spotted O out at Butter having grand old time Monday night.

Donald Flippin' Mad Over $36 Million Land-Flip


Donald Trump's hair-helmet is all afire because – he alleges – a developer used his name for an Israeli condo building and then shorted him on his cut.

As the New York Post reports, Donald Trump says in a lawsuit that he helped pump up a Trump Plaza tower in Ramat Gan, Israel, but when it came time to build the building, the developers, Crescent Heights Diamond, sold the land for a $36 million profit ... and never built the thing. El Donaldo was supposed to get a 25 percent cut.

The developer's lawyer says the suit has no merit.

34. 10:06 has it right. Stop blaming Kate ... Owen's NOT the fragile innocent that some would make him out to be. Is she supposed to marry a womanizer with substance-abuse issues AND have children with him because he'll get theatrical and overdose (I mean, "attempt suicide") again? She doesn't need that type of emotional blackmail (who does?) Owen can't behave anyway he chooses and then cry about the consequences of his behavior after the fact. Kate's a flake - she shouldn't have cheating on her hubby with Owen. But the truth is that the tide is turning with this guy. He's debauched and it's all starting to come out. Owen seriously needs to grow up and his fans need to stop coddling and enabling him. BTW - EVERYONE here is interested and somewhat involved. If not, why would you be on this site and be commenting? 37. Way too many dads involved in their daughters lives? Shouldn't they be? It's just their priorities are mixed up. They need to STOP pimping out their girls and stick with teaching them morals early on.

Own wilson is obviously not ready for a long, commited relationship. It's good they both get out now, before a little one shows up and complicates things.

Trump? He's an idiot!! For one thing if you invest in an overseas venture it's always a gamble. For another if they never completed the building then you get a percentage of ....nothing! They have the right to sell the land if they want to, maybe they found out the original plans weren't worth it. Didn't you read your own fine print bumhead?

39. I believe Jessica's dad probably did run off her latest love just like he has the others. I know she started out as a "child star" but she is a grown woman now and he needs to let her live her own life. No, I don't know the Simpson's, but you know "perception is reality". Most peoples perception of Joe Simpson is that he only has money as a motive and he will do anything he needs to do to promote "pimp" his own two daughters. His relationship with his girls is perceived by most people as creepy and not a relationship that a father/daughter should have. He seems to only care about himself and not the true happiness of his girls. Jessica needs to put her foot down or no man will ever stay with her. I am quite sure that Tony is the kind of guy (as most real men) that is not going to put up with her dad being so involved in her everyday life. Does she not realize that adult men and women grow up and live their own lives?? She better make a stand to her dad or she will be left standing all alone one day!!!!!
