Britney Lets It All Hang Out in Costa Rica

286. and you know, I weighed 120 lbs up until I got pregnant. I never felt the pressure or influence that society places on women to be skinny, because I was thin. It was only after I had my baby and wanted to lose the weight, that I realized just how much pressure there is on women, especially after having babies, to get right back down to size 0. Celebrity women give birth and pose on magazine covers a month later with their rib cage sticking out of their bodies, and suddenly it's like, "well she lost all the weight in a month, and here I am 12 months later and am still struggling." I don't think there is anything wrong with holding on to a little weight, especially after having a baby (Britney has two! back to back!). If a woman doesn't feel the need to be at the gym for two hours a day...and what REAL Mom even has that kind of time....and eats when she wants to eat, then good for her. There are women who haven't even been pregnant and look worse than Britney Spears does after two kids! It's time that people, especially women!, stop bashing other women and expecting everyone to be walking around looking like Jennifer Lopez and company. If you are comfortable with yourself, then who cares what anyone else says!

I mentioned Jennifer Lopez but the company I didn't include are Heidi Klume, Katie Holmes and Nicole Ritchie. Who cares if they worked their butts off to lose weight? They shouldn't get any credit at all compared to Britney who works her butt off too. They're with their kids but Britney isn't so who cares about them because I don't care what anyone thinks as long as Britney's having a good time without her kids.

You are either quite ignorant or you are deliberately spreading lies.

I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are not ignorant. Therefore, I claim that you know full well that Britney is currently prohbited by the courts from spending more than around 20 hours a week with her children. You also know (or should know) that she has been spending every bit of the time allotted to her in visitation with her kids, and that she is wanting to spend even more time with them, as soon as the court allows it.

Something you might not know is that the court specifically has prohibited the kids from leaving the U.S. with Britney, so it would be illegal for her to bring them with her to Costa Rica.

In other words, Britney's trip to Costa Rica is taking place during time when she couldn't be with her children, anyway. I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts (OK, 50 dollars to doughnuts at today's prices) that Britney returns to Calif. very soon and once again resumes her visits without even one hour of her allotted time with them being missed.

Since I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt about not being ignorant, I therefore conclude that you are a cowardly, malicious liar who is deliberately spreading slander about Britney.

290. To "Da_Chops" who responded to my first comment and then used my board name...and to everyone else who have commented about Britney being without her kids and everything else...

Have any of you dealt with a divorce? custody battle? mental illness? addiction? I'm just curious, since so many people want to comment on these aspects of her life, like every day people don't go through these types of painful situations, and she's some kind of monster because she has, and has had a hard time dealing with it.

My sister had two babies, close together, developed terrible postpartum, and began using drugs. In a matter of six months, she lost her husband, car, home, children and her freedom. The only difference between my sister and Britney Spears, is that Spears had to live out her downward spiral on the front page of tabloid magazines. The fact that people want to crucify her because she has some serious problems and has to deal with them publicly because she's a celebrity is just ridiculous! MILLIONS of people struggle with divorces, custody battles, drug addiction, mental illness...but they don't have to do so under the prying eye of the camera lens.

I wasn't defending anything Britney was doing, I was simply making a statement about her weight and how people should stop expecting everyone to walk around and weigh 100 lbs.

For everyone who is so quick to judge others....until you've been there and done it, you have no room to talk about what someone else should be doing or feeling. It's sad that there is still such a stigma attached to mental illness and addiction in this country, especially for women and mothers.

I was quick to judge other stars who have lost their post partum weight and I have no room to talk about what others should be doing or feeling. I am judgmental and I think Britney should be treated as a special case as I don't know for sure what exactly Britney has been diagnosed with since I'm not allowed to see her personal information.

293. 1) Britney chose the spotlight a long time ago and everything that comes with it. The first and foremost of which is the demand of the industry to keep herself looking fit at all times.

NEWS FLASH: HAVING TWO KIDS IS NO EXCUSE TO LET YOUR BODY GO IF YOUR CAREER DEPENDS ON IT!!!

There are countless celebrity moms who know how important it is to keep their bodies tight. For God's sake, look at HEIDI KLUM!

2) paparazzi are a fact of life... yet another price she and others like her pay for their fortunes and fame. Considering her pathetic attempts to gain media attention over the last few years by acting like a skank/trailer-trash/junkie/bad mother/mental case, etc. she deserves every bit of negative attention that comes her way. She brought it all upon herself.

299. These photos look like they've been doctored a bit by shortening them. The end result is to make everything look a bit fatter, like a mirror in the fun house. Check out the others in the pictures. They also look fat. The video here of the same weekend shows Britney looking very much better. C'mon TMZ. Check this stuff a bit closer.
