Freaking dumb asses wow most blondes R really dumb huh? everybody knows servers make their money off the tips and so what ur basically telling them is slave me Biot-- when u don't pay the measly 15% in most states. Unless if you have very and i mean very poor service you should always tip ur server appropriately. I took that job on last year and let me tell you I have a new found respect for servers/waitresses. That job isn't easy and to be honest most customers are a pain in the ass and make you go back and forth 20 times and then they have the nerve to get up and not tip. THE NERVE OF SOME!!!!!

How hilarious would it be if the photogs just put their lens caps on every time Heidi and Spencer were around....ignore them, stop photographing their "staged" antics and maybe instead, photograph the people who are standing around Speidi, rolling their eyes and laughing at them. 38. Yes it's true... Greedy selfish imbeciles (like "Tom") and these two pseudo-celebrities (who I have never even HEARD OF!) will grab ANY excuse to NOT compensate their server/ wait-person what they rightfully deserve.
Restaurants and bars only pay their help 1/2 of the MINIMUM wage, and a great deal of their service personnel rely and depend upon AT LEAST a decent 15% tip just to buy their groceries, baby formula, pay their rent, etc.
Churlish knaves like "Tom" need to live THAT life, so they understand what it is like to barely scrape by upon the so-called "generosity" of cheap, rude, often abusive misers who dare not tip a proper amount, for the sake of their own greed, after others have greeted you, followed your orders, kept you content, and then cleaned up after you and your filthy, noisy brood.
DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE BE DONE TO YOU, dumbphucks!!!
And WHO in hell ("Etiquette"? you claim) says NOT to tip on ALCOHOL??? It IS served per your specious request, so what besides greed could possibly be your excuse NOT to tip on ANY kind of services rendered???

43. #26, I agree with you 100%, They shouldnt automatically assume they are getting a tip, or that a tip is expected and guaranteed. I also thing it was extremely rude and unacceptable of the server to approach a producer demanding a bigger tip. That server should have been fired for extremely unprofessional behaviour.

44. You are NOT supposed to tip on alcohol, unless that is all you are being served and then you usually leave a small tip. How extremely rude for a server to approach someone for a bigger tip!!! I am fairly generous with tips normally, but if they do a bad job, I leave them a bad tip. If the server walks by 5 times and fails to refill my water, yeah, they dont deserve a huge tip. If they do an awesome job I will leave a bigger tip, sometimes even 50%. Who knows, it could have been a crappy waiter. Probably was, considering they didnt even use proper etiquette.
