Heidi and Spencer: Annoying AND Cheap

A source tells TMZ that Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt and two friends ran up a $783 bill at an L.A. restaurant last night -- and when Spency paid the bill, he tipped a whopping 16 bucks!

A camera crew was with the vomit-inducing twosome at the time -- no surprise there -- and our source says that when they stopped filming, the server approached a producer from the show about the measly tip. The producer forked over $60 from his own pocket to cover Spencer's shortcomings.

Included on the bill were 12 shots of platinum Patron at $60 a pop. Drinking and simple arithmetic just don't mix.

99. Really the server was due about $160 in tip - not just $60. It was nice of the producer to fork over the money but the server still got short changed.

BUT AGAIN. WHY ARE SERVERS GOING UP TO ANYONE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE TIP THEY ARE GETTING.

YES. I ALWAYS tip appropiately AS DICTATED BY PROPER guidlines. but i still think it's tacky and if you check with miss manners ( i won't mind if you take my idea tmz) you would see that it's tacky. A Tip used to de defined as graitutity. Now it's like we are automatically suppsoed to make up for the rest of their wage? SINCE WHEN? I DIDN'T GET THAT EMAIL.

AGAIN IF YOU DIDN'T WANT TO SCRAPE BY ON TIPS THEN DON'T ENTER INTO A PROFESSION WHERE YOUR WAGE IS ONLY 3.14 + tips AN HOUR AND THEN COMPLAIN WHEN SOMEONE DOESN'T TIP YOU WHAT YOU WANT. IS THAT THE NEW DAY AND AGE. A TIPPER CAN COMPLAIN TO A NEWS OUTLET ( term used SOOOO loosely) AND GUILT YOU INTO GIVING THEM A BETTER TIP? I WISH A SERVER WOULD. THAT'S ALL I'M SAYING. it's truly amazing, especially in this town, how many
different interpretations there are with regards to tipping.

with all due consideration that 10% of the dreamers pursuing a
career actually make a living, the other 90% become wait staff.

so there will always be a discrepancy as to what type of gratuity should have
been left for " another " wannabe talentless person struggling to get noticed.....

TIP, stands for, TO INSURE PROMPTNESS.

when someone elects to go and to be SERVED,
one PAYS for attention to their specific needs.

these " pursuers " of wishful careers who CHOOSE to
become wait staff, then be patient and WAIT on others !

it's self-explanatory.

you WAIT tentatively to
SERVE other people !

attention to service.

That is so cliche using Rosa Parks it just goes to show how many people don't have B-lls to come out with a white name because I know ur white. How can I put it to where U can understand. It's not about trying to struggle to get noticed U ding bat. It's about making money to feed u and your family. So for those who think it's okay not to tip and think that servers shouldn't complain because they can't make a living off $3.14 hr, WEll... don't complain when somebody sticks their fingers all up in your food and spits in your soda and coffe for being such a poor tipper......How you like them apples ;) don't mess w/ da people serving ur food u might regret it someday. And if you can't afford to tip then stay at home because it ain't slave time B-tches. If I work i expect to get paid. I thought yall Folks woulda been able to figure it out Yall since yall act so hi and mighty. GUess yall need to go get yall GED because yall lacking sense.
