Heidi and Spencer: Annoying AND Cheap

A source tells TMZ that Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt and two friends ran up a $783 bill at an L.A. restaurant last night -- and when Spency paid the bill, he tipped a whopping 16 bucks!

A camera crew was with the vomit-inducing twosome at the time -- no surprise there -- and our source says that when they stopped filming, the server approached a producer from the show about the measly tip. The producer forked over $60 from his own pocket to cover Spencer's shortcomings.

Included on the bill were 12 shots of platinum Patron at $60 a pop. Drinking and simple arithmetic just don't mix.

121. Hey TMZ! Please stop giving those losers anymore coverage. Let's erase them from our collective memory like the &@%*& dribble that they are.

Even the "Producer" is a major loser. The total tip should have been $157.60 or better still, it should have been rounded off to at least $160.

If I had been the waitress you would have been airing my parking lot confrontation with the deadbeat jerks. Waitresses and waiters work hard for their money, unlike "spendthrift" and "ho".

122. To Singleparent2,

You wrote "If I had been the waitress you would have been airing my parking lot confrontation with the deadbeat jerks.". This is the problem. You would feel entitled to a tip. It no longer signifies appreciation for good service, but an entitlement. Last I checked tipping is optional. If it were not optional it would be included on the bill. Who the hell do you think you are to chase somebody down demanding money? Be thankful for tips you get and not the tips you didn’t. You were hired to wait tables, do your damn job and stop acting like an ingrate.

"Waitresses and waiters work hard for their money". They do? Why, because they are on their feet their entire shift? Do they work harder than the chef? How about the hostess? Why does everybody think they work so damn hard? They bring you drinks, take your order, deliver your food and offer you desert. Where is the hard work?

123. Spencer probably thought he was tipping 20%...he just forgot that extra zero.

124. If they are so annoying and makes people sick. Then it makes me wonder why the paparazzi keeps snapping shots of them?? All they are doing is feeding their need to be in the spotlight or be in front of a camera somewhere. If you stopped takin shots of those two retards then nobody would have to endure the constant tabloid photos of them. They have done absolutely nothing special, but yet they get all of this attention from paps. Do you really think they are going to stop?? NO the paps have to stop putting them in the spotlight..

125. their families must be ashamed...my sister owns a retaurant they frequent...she is so sick of them as well as her staff. .Everyone hates them that her own regular customers are complaining about them and only them cuz they are so annoying

126. also, they should stop making up any excuses to leave a tip.....you gave a tip for the service...also its a hard and sometimes low-paying job to work in food service. I do not work in that industry however I have anough respect and consideration to leave a tip. Stop making excuses for two people whi have shown over and over again what small brains and will never have respect from the real world around them. Ladies and gentlemen, real examples of losers.

127. Hard and low paying? Pa-lease!

What is so hard about their job? Is it any more difficult then say painter houses? How about cleaning pools? Maybe working as a cashier or in the stock room at a grocery store?

And low paying? How can you say it is low paying when it is custom to leave 15% of the total bill. Average dining time is lets say a hour and a half. A waiter waits on lets say 5 tables in that hour and a half. If each table’s bill is $100 and each table leaves 15% that’s $75 an hour. How many people here make that kind of scratch?
