Huckabee Caught in TMZ's Crosshairs

31. A stupid joke? Maybe. But the masses are so stupid that they can’t even put it in context. He’s speaking in front of the ‘NRA, and a disturbance happens off stage so he makes a joke (rub) at a guy (Obama) who doesn’t want the people to be able to bear arms. I GET IT! LIGHTEN UP YOU STUPID PEOPLE! GET A CLUE! So Obama believes in the right to bear arms? He says yes, but his actions and the laws he supports and rallies for tell different. Oh you can have a gun, as long as you’re not allowed to have it near or unlocked. He wants to make gun-locks mandatory and as long as you live in a rural farmhouse in Iowa. Says his wife had an interesting point after having visited “rural Iowa”. In that farm houses are “3-miles apart, it would take a long time for help to arrive if your life were in peril. Concealed weapons? He had no ‘Yes/No answer on the matter (like anyone’s surprised), other than to say “as long as it doesn’t threaten the safety of Illinois residents”. Standard ‘coded political gobblygoop, standard side-stepping that he’s against guns in “the peoples” hands. Oh and he wants to make gun locks mandatory, but that only gives the criminals the incentive to hit us faster and hit us harder, before we can manage to turn on a light, to find a key, to unlock a gun, to point at a villain. I suppose if you were Superman and faster than a speeding bullet you could manage, but then again Superman isn’t afraid of bullets because they just bounce right off him. The Assault weapons ban he supports renewing, most people don’t have a clue what “assault weapons” encompasses. Fit your hunting rifle with a wrong part or stock, and it then falls under the blanket “assault weapons” umbrella. Worthless ‘feel good legislation that appeased many of you and helps you sleep at night, even though you’re only kidding yourselves (or at least the politicians are fooling you). If you can’t even connect the dots of a little pun in front of an audience of ‘gun rights supporters at the expense of a man (Obama) who couldn’t care less how many people be attacked in America (or even Illinois), but for a gun might have saved a life, then you are a fool!

39. Agree with "dumb cameraman". SO many people in this Country believe in talking points and bumper stickers. Obama wants to "make friends with people that want to kill Americans." Only a Republican Fox News watching fool would think that. Obama wants to talk to Hamas, among others. What the knuckle-draggers don't realize is that SO DID McCAIN 2 years ago! (That video is all over the Net.) And then there are the people that think Obama is Muslim. And then there are the people that actually voted for Huckabee as Governor.

I just don't see any possible thought-related reason.
I like the first, only because it's ABSOLUTELY anti-NRA and irony always wins.

45. idea.... why don't we all find out what airport huckabee will be flying from next and those who are a little more smarter or experienced than the tmz camerman go ask huckabee some questions and ding him when he POO POOS their answers (and he poo poos serious shiz a lot). tell u what, if i get a response i will find out what airport heez catching a flight to/from next and post it on this blog so whomever can videotape him answering questions as he roams freely from airport to airport from city to city punditing WITHOUT Secret Service...howz that? since the tmz guy was so dumb u guys see what u can get out of the "jokester." (as easy as he goes from place to place he surely hasn't a clue abt whatz at stake because of his comment)
