47. In that context (an NRA meeting) it was a good attempt at impromptu humor. Everybody is so huffy puffy because he is a black presidential candidate. If Huckabee said, "Oh that was my assistant who fetches my coffee. He fell out of his chair. Someone aimed a gun at him," TMZ would not even be giving that the time of day and be showing clips of truly improtant people, like Heidi and Spencer or Travis and Shanna. I always think Huckabee would be a good name for a cat...

49. It's the most offensive thing I've heard Huckleberry say, though he's said a lot of stupid things. In fact, if you don't believe in science and think God talks to you personally, chances are you're mostly an unfunny idiot (like George W). This was the racist version of the Freudian slip McCain made- "Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb bomb Iran." Only this time- it's "Someone's shooting at Obama." That's offensive no matter who he was talking about. This was doubly chilling.

54. All three candidates suck. This is the best America can do? If you want your taxes
to go through the roof vote for Obama or Hillary. If you want an insane foreign policy
vote for McCain. The ONLY hope this country has is if McCain chooses a great
Vice-President and then gets elected. One hour after McCain is sworn into office he
goes into a non brain damaging coma for four years and the Vice-President has to
take over. After four years McCain wakes up and decides not to run for office. Realalisticly
this country is in trouble no matter who is elected. Where is Ralph Nader when you need him?

56. Joking about assasination of a prominent African-American political leader who may become President of the United States is just eight months short of a talk with the Secret Service. It was worse than tasteless. It was worse than lame. There are plenty of up country Right wing nut-jobs who would be more than happy to take Huckabee's hint as a "go-ahead" for murder. Anyone who finds it funny exposes himself as one of the "hint's" intended recipients.

I met this guy, I went to a rally of his in VA beach. He is very much a square, but a really nice person. His politics were down right sensible and was very respectful. It was really quite something to see. I'm sure TMZ just latches on to any "Square" that they can think of other than their pride and joy dem party.

what I think is especially sad is that if a celebrity farts or belches they are there to point it out and laugh. If someone from the Republican party does something stupid it's espcially something to laugh at and point out. But GOD FORBID if Obama were to do something "radical" they would simply over look it. *again*
