48. #48: Yes, it's true Cindy McCain became addicted to painkillers. And yes, she took them from the medical supplies she was dontated to take to impoverished countries. Yes, she also got a deal when the discovery was made, pretty much like anyone of power and privilege anymore. It doesn't take away that she did good work and was well-intentioned for the majority of the time she did the American Voluntary Medical Team. My brother went to El Salvador with her and a group of other docs. He still maintains it was one of the most fulfilling moments of his medical career so far. She ruined it by becoming addicted to the painkillers. She also hid it all from her husband. I don't hold him responsible for her actions and she has made public her problems and paid monetary (no not jail or anything) restitution. Don't know what more there is to say on it. It was over a decade ago.

It is a matter of goverment record, that John McCain made 32 TAPES of PROPAGANDA for the Vietnamese Government, the enemy of the USA, and he was the ONLY prisoner of war in Vietnam to have cooperated with the enemy.

John McCain also gave interviews to the Vietnamese communist news service, interviews that were NOT flattering to the USA, but were disrespectul to this country.

I think the citizens if this country, as well as the soldiers who served with McCain, and DID NOT betray their country like McCain did, would really like to know why McCain worked for the enemy during the Vietnam war, and why he doesn't want Americans to see what it was he, McCain said about America to the Vietnamese government.
