16. Can someone please hand me a spoon...I want to eat Simon like a scoop of ice cream. That fella is soooooo yummy. I agree that SIMON makes the show. People have to realize that he is a judge and his reputation ia on the line if some lamo becomes the American Idol. His comments may be a bit harsh but he is genuinely fair. It you suck...you suck. He gives kudos to those who perform well and makes suggestions for the lamos to improve. I really only watch the show to see Simon. WHOOT!!!!!!!

17. Well, if Simon thinks David Cook will win, he sure didn't show it on part 1 of the finale. He was all David Archuletta, who sings the same kind of songs all the time, takes no chances in different types of music and who has sung in the same predictable style all season long. Simon gave all 3 rounds to Archuletta - not even citing the beautiful voice of Cook, his mixing of different styles and giving his own take on just about every song he sings. But my main gripe is with the Fox-American Idol telephone voting system. The last 2 weeks, I consistently ONLY vote for Dave Cook, and keep hitting redial on my telephone. However, 1 out of every 3 or 4 calls, gets counted toward Archuletta (whom I've NEVER voted for). Instead of the automated system saying "Thank you for voting for contestant one" every time I vote, the automated system says "Thank you for voting for contestant two" every so often!! Now I know the whole thing is a scam. Fox decides who they want to win, and no matter what number you dial, your vote counts toward their candidate.
