Both guys are great. I think Cook will sell more and is a better stage performer. It might be in Cook's best interest not to win. Seems like "the idol" can be held back in creative ways and that is not good for Cook.
Archie is great for the idol image. David A is true teenie bopper and could do a duet w/ Hanna Montana. They will both do well..

it truly doesn't matter who "wins" tonight - cook will have 100 times the career that archuleta could ever dream of... unless there's suddenly a huge demand for pureed elevator music.

Put out a cd, nobody cares about you anymore and the little girls in the front of the stage every night will be late teens and not wanting to listen to sappy ballads anymore and then he'll be dropped from his label. 23. It amazes me how negitave people are. Appeciate people for who they are. Both David's are great, each has there own style. I just find it amazing how people can comment so negitively on David Archuleta. David Cook was favored to win. In fact I read an article where the audiance was polled last night and most people in the audience were Cook Fans. Archuleta obviously showed he wanted the win more than Cook. It came across loud and clear. Cook was great, Archuleta just won the match. Both are great, appreciate them for the artist they both are and enjoy the fact that this AI Season generated not only a great finale but also some other great constestants in the top 10 who without doubt will end up with a recroding contract. This was a Great Season!

26. As it's been said, for weeks everyone knew it was going to come down to the two David's being in the finals so last week when Syesha went home, I was not suprised one bit.

I like both of them for different reasons.

Like Randy has been saying for a while that David A can sing the phone book and I agree. There is no doubt that he can sing and has amazing talent for someone his age. But he always sings in the same range. There's no variety.

I like David Cook's music type better because it's unique and he reminds me of Chris Daughtry and I love Daughtry's music. Chris Daughtry is the perfect example that you don't have to be the AI to make it big.

Anyway, even though I'm hoping David Cook wins tonight, my gut feeling is that David A is going to be the winner.

Which ever one of them wins, they both deserve it for different reasons.

29. On the day of the run-off, Simon was on "ELLEN" saying he hoped DC would win. Later, during the show, Simon gave DA the "win".
I have to say, that made me think maybe the show ISN'T fixed ! Simon put his CocaCola glass down long enough, to give DA the night.
