61. David C is a better all around performer, which is why I'm hoping David A wins. Cook will have a better chance at becomming a star in his own right without the AI industry calling the shots. David A's 15 minutes will be over in the blink of an eye. He's far too young to handle it.

62. I agree with the last part, "Screw Barack & Hillary" But McCains not much better. And Barack or Hillary have no answer for lowering gas prices. Maybe we should drill for our own here in the USA. Oh wait even Bush said to do that when he took office, but the democrats said hell no! So who is really to blame for this now? I know I know it's Bush he cause all bad things that happen to everyone, the liberals only want to tax us and have bigger government and less rights. Kristi Lee Cook is the only one of the current crop that has a chance for "long-term" success (in other words, be able to afford a killer house and car, and put some serious money in the bank, etc.). She has the looks, and the voice to adapt to country music. Throw her a few generic, mundane, cookie-cutter songs (think Carrie Underpants), put her in some videos showcasing her looks (think Carrie Underpants, and "Devoted"), and...bada-bing! (However, "Devoted" *is* a great song and video - way better than anything Carrie UnderMyWood has done).

Either one of the Davids will shortly be joining Taylor Hicks, Ruben, Bo Bice, etc., doing Bar Mitzvahs and ribbon cuttings for department stores. (Taylor Hicks showed up at my house the other day wanting to cut my lawn.)

Magic doesn't happen often in this arena for non-country artists (exception - Daughtry - now there's a guy raking in some dough). Even Kelli Pickler is making a few bucks - again, she has the looks, and is doing country. The country audience is way less fickle and will more readily digest crap thrown at them.

Why anyone is over bloating his nasal performances amazes me.
But oh yea... "PEOPLE ARE SMART"....NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!
David Cook proved his talent when he did Billie Jean & he didn't go to try out but to support his brother.
He's shown more caring for the booted people if you watch his emotional reaction.
He's clearly very humble.
David A. was out of key & did a repeat "Imagine" to try to win.
David Cook could have redone Billie Jean too but he chose to do something new.
I hope he wasn't trying to let nasal boy win cuz he's ONLY 17...whoopie...
Talent NOT age.

People will buy his CD's.....David A. is pitiful.
