One minute she's getting crushed by the waves in Costa Rica, the next Britney Spears is getting crushed by a million paparazzi back in Hollywood.

Brit Brit, along with mega-rich Palms Casino Hotel owner George Maloof, left Il Sole last night -- and faced the kind of paparazzi madness she escaped to Central America to avoid in the first place. Don't worry ... she didn't drive home.
