Carrie to Fantasia: How's the Hoopty?

31. Fantasia was my favorite singer when I first saw her on Idol. I was so happy when she won but after that she went down hill fast. She may have the money but she is still ghetto. I guess now she is a lost cause. No one will want her but some hole in the wall, That girl looks very trashy. I used to love me some Tasha but now she can go away forever. I guess she doesn't feel comfortable being away from her environment that she is used to. Money can't change that for some people and she is one of them, I thought she was trying to make better choices for her daughter but it looks as if that notion went out of the window along with the rest of her ambitions. Sing Fantasia because you are ended back to the sticks.

32. Nicolas, did you watch the season that Carrie Underwood was on? Simon predicted Carrie winning at the top 20. He never said he couldn't understand her, in fact he said she was the one to beat. Oh and there are country music stations that are successful outside of Nashville, you just need to listen to them.

I never thought Fantasia was talented, she proved that with her last performance if oyu call it that on AI.

Another thing is the papparazzi follow your media whore young caucasians so they need the expense of impressing you people that will never attain more than ugly online racist postings, while denying your prejudice.

African American actors live below the radar and therefore are not featured or followed nor do they seek out the papparazzi for whore shots.

By the way Fantasia is a pretty big hit having completed a run on Broadway in Oprah Winfrey's Color Purple in the starring role made famous by Oscar winning Whoopi Goldberg.

Carrie Underwood has not cross out of the genre of country and western since leaving American Idol.

In regards to comment 14...It did not take Carrie Underwood "a couple of years" to make an impact...She had atleast 2 hits the first 2 years she was in the industry...And there are a lot of successful country music stations "outside of Nashville"...Just because you may not listen to them does not mean they don't exist...Also, just because Simon does not understand country music, which is understandable because he does come from a different country does not mean that she is not good or not as good as the other winners..As a matter of fact, she is probably one of the top 2 best performers to win Amer. Idol...

44. Now now, does it really matter how a celebrity gets to an event? But I must say, after that horrific performance on Idol a few weeks ago, she deserves to walk. She sang Summertime so beautifully on Idol a few years ago, did she actually think what she did on Idol was singing? If you caught a glimpse of the judges during her performance, they all were looking at each other with the look of "oh my gosh, what is she doing?"! Even Paula looked shocked...and if Paula does not like it, it REALLY has to stink. Fantasia should not have won that season anyway...LaToya London should have won that season. Her voice is just absolutely lovely. Latoya's album is pretty good too!
