20. I wonder if "rehab" actually means "I'm hiding while my plastic surgery heals" for some of these guys? I've noticed that "rehab" is also a good place to hang out when the cops are looking for you.

21. #3 has good intentions, but the last thing Steve needs is SHAME. In Rational Recovery, they say THE BEAST, which is the addictive voice, will always be looking for an opportunity to make the person use again. I was an alcoholic for 15 years &
am sober thru R.R. but it's tough. I think only other addicts (food, drugs, booze, sex, etc.) can relate to a man being sober for many years and then using again. Robin Williams slipped recently too. We offer them support, forgiveness, and love, but they have no reason to feel ashamed. Kicking an addiction is MUCH harder than most people know.

So i will be praying for you & hope all turns out well for you. You are soooo talented & i love all your music from the begining in the 70's til present, you rule Steven !!!!

25. Saw them play once in the 70's and Tyler and Perry had no idea where they were. 45 minutes and they were gone. I thought that was the beginning of the end.

They all got clean and came back better than ever.

Now this setback. Hang in there man. You have done it before and you can do it again.

26. WOW there is a lot of haters out there. Whoever thinks it's heroine - it's not - I know for a fact. It takes a man to admit you have a problem and that's what he's done and even more kudos for asking for the help - who FRIGGEN CARES who he asks for help from - at least he did it.

And for all you female haters - he looks HOT. Any of you stupid biatches that hate on him now would cream if he gave you the time of day.

27. LOVE THAT GUY!!!!! WHAT A SWEEETIE!!!! If you want to quit, you can quit. You can't hang out with people doing the drugs in front of you all the time, it just WON'T work!!! Find what makes you happy, and go do it, vacation, exercise, paint, something, But if you LIKE doing drugs, and don't have a reasone to stop, I.E, Kids, family, you will do them UNTIL YOU DIE. You will give your life to drugs. If you are TRYING TO STOP, use it as a game, are you STRONG enough (Mentally) to not do them?? OR, are you WEAK, weak minded, no form of your own self control to not be strong enough. If you are not strong enough, and surround yourself with everyone doing drugs, it will NEVER stop. NUT UP!!! , Cocaine and all that S**T are for weak people who will do whatever, whenever to get their drugs. You let your morals diminish, and before you know it, you could end up living under a bridge, or dead. DRUGS ARE A B**CH!!!! And YES, IT IS possible to quit COLD TURKEY, in fact, that is the ONLY way!!!! None of these $$$$ drug treatment places are going to STOP you, they give you direction and encouragement, DONT DO THE S***T!!!!!! RE-DIRECT YOUR LIFE!!!, Remeber less than ZERO?? EEWW!!!! Pull yourself up by your balls, YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!

28. Let's be positive here...he is seeking help...do not condem anyone who seeks help for they are admitting there IS a problem and that takes alot.. Right now we have no idea what "substance" he is seeking help for. Can we just look at the positive here? I'm so thankful for all the wonderful music he has contributed in my own lifetime. We don't need to slam him for his short comings, I'm sure he is doing a good job at that himself. Sure, we look at his life as glamourous and exciting, but I'm sure it is filled with lonliness and sadness at times too. I agree he shouldn't turn to any substance to fill any voids, but I give him credit for seeking the help he needs.

Steven I wish you all the luck and love in the world. I for one can say you made my life better by your contribution to the music industry and for that I am sincerely thankful. God bless you and keep you strong as you regain your sobriety.
