16. Larry, you're sick. Being homosexual is not a choice. Why would someone chose to be something that only draws persecution and blind hatred from people such as yourself? Everyone wants to be loved, not despised. Keep your ignorance to yourself.

17. Larry, what a whimp you are! lol! So homophobic! So unevolved, so AFRAID. How and who people have sex with, as long as they are consenting adults, IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS! Do you call your Mom and talk about HER sex acts? Your sister? Brother? Neighbor? Minister? Ice Cream Man? Why would you be so interested in how Ellen or anyone has sex? You're the disturbed one. Maybe you should get a life and think about other things, and not how people have sex.

19. Wow...yes wow accurately sums it up if that's what you really believe. Perhaps you're the one that's truly sick? All behaviors are in fact a choice. I believe what you are attempting to refer to is a trait...perhaps similar to a gene or trait that causes certain people to have a propensity towards alcoholism. Now no one can really prove that homosexuals are "born that way" any more than I can prove that they aren't born that way. If they are not born that way, then clearly it's a perverted choice. If they are born that way, it's still a perverted choice (follow along...BEHAVIOR), but perhaps they do have some propensity to engage in this perversion. Does that mean society embraces something that's wrong? Clearly not. Embracing homosexuality as if it were somehow normal is no different than providing LSD to a schizophrenic or offering liposuction to an anorexic. Homosexuality is about sexually deviant behavior and it needs to be called for what it is. Quite ironic that you would write about ignorance.

21. Larry, you are the confused one. If you actually listen to the clip Ellen did not "speak of black men being unable to marry white women once upon a time" she was talking about Blacks and Women gaining the right to vote. And you don't choose your sexuality - just like you don't choose your race.

22. I went out into my backyard last night and watched the house behind me as the emergency people responded. I saw the lights and heard the sirens. This mom was howling and moaning. I later learned she came home from the grocery store at 10:30 p.m. Her husband and 2 toddlers were laying in the grass in the front yard looking at the moon and stars. The dad dozzed off for a couple of minutes and the mom pulled into the driveway. She never knew she ran over their 2 1/2 yr. old until he woke up and started screaming. It has been all over the news all day. If anyone wants to go look and has a clear viewm the moon is awesome, His name was Gabriel.

23. dontbestupid...I think it would be best if you were to take your own advice. Ah yes, the classic name calling. If one disagrees with homosexual behavior, yes they must have a fear of homosexuals. That's a tired, worn out line of attack and it speaks volumes to your inability to develop an argument with substance. So according to your logic, I suppose if an adult brother chose to marry his adult sister, this would be OK? Perhaps if a man had four girlfriends, they all knew about each other and were all very much in love, because they are consenting adults, they should be able to get married right? Well, that's not OK because society as a whole understands that these types of BEHAVIOR, including homosexuality are unhealthy. You know...society, that group of people that determines laws and such? You see, this isn't about "equal" rights, it's about special rights. The only reason homosexuals want to marry is so they can have a stamp of approval on their perverted lifestyle. By the way, wimps are the ones who tend to resort to name calling!

26. Clearly...you're the confused one. I never once wrote that homosexuality is a choice. I have simply pointed out the fact that no one can prove whether they are born with a propensity to engage in homosexual behavior anymore than it can be proven that they are not born with this trait. Regardless whether she was speaking of interracial marriage or the right to vote, you seem to have understood my point being that the color of skin is a trait that...no question, people are born with. "And you don't choose your sexuality - just like you don't choose your race"...how utterly ignorant are you? Did you even read what I wrote or are you just so closed off to a point of view other than your own, that all you can do is regurgitate homosexual activists' selling points? The color of your skin can NOT be changed. Sexual behavior, is a BEHAVIOR!! What are you not understanding about that? I'm sure you'll just gloss over that as well because you "disagree."

27. Most of you are so rotten. What is the problem with gay Americans? I suppose big fat stupid straights have to have someone to hate and belittle. I have been in a loving and stable relationship for 33 years. We pay tons in taxes. We help our (straight) community. Who the f... do you loser heterosexuals, on the dole, married countless times, procreating like rabbits, think you are. And please, don't throw God into it. You people don't have a clue.

28. I admire Ellen, she wears her heart on her sleeve. But I agree with Larry. You can't compare being gay to being discriminated against for your color. Come on people whats wrong with you? Can you imagine being a black person in those times? You can hide being gay but you couldn't hide being black. Oh, and by the way I support John McCain. We need a tough president in these times. Bring our troops home? really? Ok then, Iran will take over Iraq and there will also be genocide. Is that what you want? YOu know what bugs me the most? That a lot of people who don't know anything about politics and are just voting for Obama because everybody else is. He is too inexperienced. When are you morons going to realize that?
