123. As a woman who's best friend for the last 10 years was gay, and sadly passed away in October, I must say something. Gay people don't chose to be gay. They don't wake up in the morning and chose to have feelings for someone. Nicki was a beautiful woman, and a devout Catholic. I watched her struggle with her sexuality and religion for years and years, eventually leaving Catholicism to become a Methodist pastor. She was the first gay person I ever knew, and it really didn't affect me at all. I never stopped to think about what she did, or who she did it with, because it didn't affect ME. She somehow managed to form a connection to God, a love for herself and love for her friends, family and partner. I was, and remain, so honored to be her friend.
And I must disagree with "THAT is scary". Homosexuality is abudant in nature. Several studies have been done on the subject, and the information is readily available. However, homosexuality is one area that people will never truly agree on, one of the many grey areas in society. Nicki taught me that we have love and tolerance for everyone, even if they don't have love and tolerance for us.

125. Also, as a Catholic woman who does believe in God, I remain skeptical of the Bible. There are many wonderful examples and beliefs we should follow in it...however, it has been rewritten several times by men such as King James. Anything we do as humans, we cannot help but impart our own views and beliefs upon it. One translation to another could have been twisted or lost as the centuries came and went. We don't know what the original Bible said. Do I believe there WAS a Bible, with God's own words, once upon a time? Yes. However, I'm skeptical at best that the Bible we believe in isn't flawed by ourselves.

131. Why are liberals so hateful and closed minded? And on this site, they seem to generalize conservatives the same way they accuse the conservatives doing.

And one more thing, why is it when liberals/gays can not get the majority to agree with them or get the rule of law turned in their favor, they run to activist judges who rule with a political agenda instead of following the rule of law? I'll tell you why, becase they are sore losers. They live a life of no ethics. They care about nothing but themselves and their short term pleasures.
