How on earth can you say that David Cook isnt versatile. Do you hear him sing Billie Jean. How about "Hello". And we can't forget "Always be my baby" What planet are you on? David Cook can not only rock but he can also be gentle and sincere in his ballads. David A. is just too boring. Always singing the same types of songs, the same way. I would like to see him try to rock out. He would be an absolute mess!!!!!!!!!!!!!

35. giblin.......,Billie Jean was Chris Cornell's version....not very unique if you ask me.....just saying. Like some other poster said somewhere here......you can hear David Cook sing in every other bar in the country. He's just not that good. Sorry if my comment doesn't please you, but i mute his performaces sometimes.

36. David Cook is the boring one. Rock is something you can only take so much of, whereas ballads are more versatile and can be played anywhere. try listening to rock on a romantic date, in an elevator, at the dentist's office during a root canal, or at a restaurant. I'd either go nuts or barf my dinner!

Why anyone is over bloating his nasal performances amazes me.
But oh yea... "PEOPLE ARE SMART"....NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!
David Cook proved his talent when he did Billie Jean & he didn't go to try out but to support his brother.
He's shown more caring for the booted people if you watch his emotional reaction.
He's clearly very humble.
David A. was out of key & did a repeat "Imagine" to try to win.
David Cook could have redone Billie Jean too but he chose to do something new.
I hope he wasn't trying to let nasal boy win cuz he's ONLY 17...whoopie...
Talent NOT age.

People will buy his CD's.....David A. is pitiful.

If nasal boy wins Idol can close shop between him & Taylor Hicks...................
