Kristi Wins "DWTS" with All the Fix-Ins

In an ending as easy to predict as Star Jones' marriage, Kristi Yamaguchi walked away with the "DWTS" crown last night. Did you honestly think Penn Jillette, Steve Guttenberg or Adam Carolla would win?

When we asked judge Bruno Tonioli if the show was fixed for Kristi, he took us to task for even suggesting it. Uffa!

1. I doubt if it was fixed, but it was a boring year. I stopped watching about 3 weeks in. They need a more interesting mix of "stars" next time.

2. since when was Adam Corolla a star any ways? He was a below average sidekick on the man show and has been a lousy talk show host as well as everything else he has done. I didn't care who won (It was obviously fixed anyway) as long as i got to see him lose!!!

3. I certainly do not think that DWTS was fixed. Many of the stars joined in for entertainment purposes and to step out of their so called "comfort zone". I believe that those involved truly did train and practice endlessly. Having a hodgepodge of folks is what the show is about. In the past, winners have been trained dancers.

Kristi was the better dancer. That is the bottom line. I truly was pulling for Jason. He performed well and with dignity. To see him progress and transform from football "god" to graceful ballroom dancer...wowzer. This will only assist his game. He ALREADY has going on but I know he gave it his all in this compettition. He is still a winner in my book.

4. I think it was fixed. Mostly they needed another woman to win(it had been 5 years) and what better chance than a skating staf(really all she had to learn was to work with a partner) she already had a lot of the same training down. Plus the women stars they have been getting are old hat so this way it might make some females out there want to join next year. Plus they never seem to want a professional to win more than 2 times in a row so they tend to give them the odd men to dance with. I agree this was the most boring season.

5. Did anyone doubt that Kristi would win? Afterall, doing routines is 2nd nature to her. All the other contestants were far removed from their comfort zone and I thought this was what the show is supposed to be about - I applaud the others who tried something that was very difficult for them to do. But putting Kristi on the show ? - c'mon - way far too predictable! If she can do routines on skates - how hard was it for her in heels?

6. GIVE ME A BREAK! KRISTY DESERVES THIS TROPHY BECAUSE SHE WAS THEE BEST!
JUST LOOK AT THAT 'FAT GIRL' WHAT'S HER NAME (THE HAIRSPRAY STAR) ? EVEN SHE WAS STILL ON THE COMP. WHEN SOME OF THE TALENTED DANCERS WERE GONE ALREADY.
GUESS MANY FAT WOMEN VOTED FOR HER...LOL, BUT AT THE END, SHE LOST BECAUSE SHE WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO STAY FOR THE SEMI FINALS.

7. I think it was fixed, how else can you explain a perfect 90....the judges had to do something to offset the popularity of Jason Taylor with the fans. I tried to call in to vote for him, as did some of my friends, but the line was busy for all of us the entire time......

I must admit that this was the only time I have tried to vote, so I'm not sure if that happens regularly with call-in voters.

8. I think Kristi was very good, probably the skating background, but really wanted Jason to win! Yum, yum!!

9. Every star on the show brought there own "Edge" into play, some had broadway experience, the muscicians understand Rhythem and stage performing, An olumpic figure skater Brings Drive, dedidcation, and the ability to assess what is necesary to win. The Only area where she may have had a superior edge is in the fact she understands competition, where every position of your body while performing is assessed and scrutinized. You can bet she was more detailed in her own training and looked at things that the others did not ( such as positioning of hands, posture, etc) Other than that AMERICA voted for the winner. DUHHHHHHH
She won it fair and square,
Jason was FABULOUS and without a superior competitor he easily could have won it, but lets face it. As Simon Cowell says Your only as good as your last performance, and his last performance was not great.

10. Everytime I tried to call in and vote for Kristi I was unable to, Am I too assume the show was rigged in Jasons Favor?
How about, the phone lines were flooded.................
Its for a mirror ball folks, not the national championships.................

11. The negative comments about Kristi are hurtful. I knew her and her family very well growing up and they are some of the nicest, most gracious and classiest people you could ever meet. The entire family is humble and she has worked hard for everything she's achieved. Please remember that this girl was born with deformed feet and underwent years of surgeries and had to wear braces on her feet. I remember seeing her several times with casts on both of her feet. For someone to overcome something like this and achieve what she has is inspiring. She's a great role model for young women and for those that are born with disabilities. She is currently raising money to build a huge public park in her hometown of Fremont, California and has never forgotten where she came from or the people that supported her. Please be happy for her and see this as an opportunity for her to do even more charity work which she devotes exclusively to children. She's truly good people.

12. I cannot comment on fixed but can say I could not vote the system was not allowing me in to cast my votes for one of the other guys.

I wonder how many others were not able to vote as well.

When was the last time you Skated on ice? Balancing on A metal Blade, While performing athletic stunts is nothing like Dancing in High heels. She is also a Figure Skater, Not An Ice Dancer, Nor is she a partners skater. So before you start giving us the benefit of you knowledge, upi meed tp walk or dance in your high heels down to the Ice Rink, pop on some skates and perform a few triple jumps, Hell try skating around the rink once and then tell us its the same.

Until then, be a decent human being and congratulate the Lady for her hard work.

14. No one is as good as the professional dancers, not even Kristy Yamaguchi.

15. I've always felt, from Day 1, that Kristi was at an UNfair advantage, being of her strong dance experience/history. My God, she's a champion skater...which requires DANCE ability. This year's competition was unfair from the get go.
