47. Nick was reckless the day he got in an accident and probably many other times but I'm sure he never thought he would bring harm to his friend. When you are young you do a lot of dumb things and most of us were just lucky enough that we were able to learn our lessons without others having to be hurt. It's sad that Nick can't talk to his mom without all the world being able to listen and mock and judge. We should all look at our own lives before being so quick to bash someone else.

51. To webby, obviously you do not know anything about the "living death". Where a machine keeps you breathing, where nurses aides turn your body every 2 hours to try and prevent bed sores, to see someone fed by a feeding machine because they cannot swallow, to clean someones privates because they have no control over their bodily functions. Sorry but Nick Bollea has killed his friend. A machine keeps him going. You call that living? A hell of a way to live. And to you Courtney, listen up. Nick did the crime and so now he does the crime. He received an 8 month jail sentence which he more than likely will not serve it all. Loss of license etc. But his life will go on. Yet you harp on the fact that Graziano was 25, got in the car with him, etc. We are all aware of this and once again I say, John Graziano is paying for his stupidity with his life. Isn't that enough for you? Have you ever heard of quality life? John will never have it again. Nick has his whole life ahead of him. Please tell me what does John have to look forward to?

53. I too believe somethings should just be kept private. Massachusetts Dude your a prime example of the haters I refer
to below. And nope I don't personal know the Hogan family.
I can not believe the venom and hate that is oozing from the comments. It is like a pack of sharks or lynching mob.
Since when has it become ok and a sport to get enjoyment from anyone's misery. Nick was a spoiled child who pushed
the limits and was not curtailed by his parents. (not unusual) John was an adult who should of been the voice
of reason. , but even he did not act responsible enough to put on his own seat belt. Very sad for all concerned. How
any of you can feed off this and enjoy the misery is disgusting. Have any of you considered how you would handle
your most vulnerable moments broadcast to the world. Just because it is legal to request these tapes does not make
it ethical to make them available to the public. how many of you would hold up to constant close scrutiny of your
every action, your mistakes, recall your own childhood, is there not something you are ashamed of ,mistakes or actions
you have never told. How would you like to be judged by the world. Have your parents been perfect.? this is so sick. Where are the boundaries of decency? And I agree with OCD I too do not feel comfortably with Pinellas releasing these
tapes. I do not beleve the purpose of recording them is for media ,and public ridicule. Know one should have what they consider private moments made public like that. He is in jail , having personal conversations with his family
that are in no way breaking any laws, which I believe is the reason they are recorded. Shame on you Pinellas

59. completely disgusted,SEAT BELTS < SEAT BELTS- SEAT BELTS!!!!!!!! did you look at the car. The drivers side was the most damaged. It was the side that hit the tree. Had john put his seat belt on then
he too would of been less damaged. The extent of his injuries was caused by not wearing his seatbelt!!!

The tapes are public domain, morons, and if you really understood anything about constitutional law, you'd understand why... But instead of incarceration, let's just all hold hands in a big circle and sing "Kumbaya"- good plan!

Enough with the seatbeat yammering- if you actually look at how the car impacted upon the occupants, it would be clear to you that wearing a seatbelt doesn't matter much when a shard of metal slices thru your head from the back... Then again, only the Hogans have said Graziano wasn't wearing a seatbelt- I think I'll take the opinion of the forensic evidence obtained at the emergency room, showing that Graziano had bruising consistant with those caused by wearing a seatbelt...

But hey- why let facts and laws get in the way of your pain for Little Nicky?

BTW, not once during that conversation did I hear Nicky ask how John is doing.... I wonder how many times John's body had to be turned over today? His ventilator cleaned? His bowel movements wiped down?

Oh yes- poooooor Little Nicky........ Yes, grandma is right- he needs MANY more hot dogs.........
