79. Legal? This is totally legal. In Florida all you have to do is request the phone conversations of any inmate and by Florida law, they have to be given to you. He's in F@#$ jail for F@#$s sake. When you get on the phone it tells you you're being recorded. Im sure his lawyers informed the family. They are just flat out stupid for not understanding it. The kind of stupid that would allow your son to drive a suped up car after already having 2 tickets for over 100 miles per hour. POOR parenting. And this is from a guy who wrote Hogan a get well card when Zues (aka Debo from Friday) injured him in the 80s during the build-up to No Holds Barred... great movie... of course i was 8 when I saw it...

80. just wondering how many of you that wants to "hang him out to dry" either doesn't or hasn't or didn't drink, drive faster than you should, or do something stupid at age 17, or even now at your present age. it's easy to condemn when it's not you or a loved one. and now, on the other side of the coin, who wouldn't want justice for a stupid act upon them or their family. but trust me, he will never forget this and will have it "pop up" in his dreams for the rest of his life. shouldn't we just put john on our prayer list that someway, some how, some day he will be whole again.

81. I really and truly feel bad for the kid and his sister....their mom and dad did a worthless job raising those two, esp the mom. I think Hulk tried as much as a person can for him not being around when they were younger...BUT the mom??? She should be in there with him. She was the main one responsible for teaching them right from wrong and to raise normal well adjusted un-spoiled children and look at them....they both had credit cards and everything handed to them on a silver platter...never had to work for anything. Linda let Brooke dress like a straight up street walking hooker and she wasn't even old enough for men to look at her without getting arrested. Then there's the racing son...seriously?? I hope the kids get their sh** together because the start that they have now is crappy at best. Be a LITTLE humble and take the puninshment for what it is.......you still are alive and kicking and your friend is a vegetable. Oh and by the way Brooke maybe if you wore more clothes on the cover on your next album people will buy it. How do you expect people to buy it when you are barely dressed and underage...maybe people felt dirty like they were in a porn shop buying something that they shouldn't have been. And as far as Linda goes....the 80's make-up and bottle platinum hair has got to go....try acting more like a mother and stop trying to live vicariously through your children.

82. i really dont understand why everyone is so harsh on Nick. He made a mistake, obviously not something he INTENDED to do. There is a huge difference between a murderer with an intent to kill and a 17 yr old kid who acted stupidly and ended up drinking and driving and getting into an accident. His intent was obviously not to hurt the kid in the car that he was driving with so why is everyone being so harsh on him?
And another note, i can completely understand why the family of the guy in the hospital would be so upset considering their son is probably going to be inn a vegetative state for a long long time, but what the hell do they expect the hogan family to do? they expect that life doesnt go on? life goes on, and people go to beaches and go tanning, they go to parties... im sure they didnt just go to a party the night it happened. i doubt they were doing fun crazy things a week after it happened but when it becomes a month after the fact, what does the family and public expect? there's only so much mourning and apologizing they can do. And, as sad as it is, life goes on and life resumes.
The point of this is, i dont know him personally. I just dont think he's a person that would have intended to cause anyone harm like this. He may be spoiled, plenty of other people are and are not subjected to this kind of scrutiny. I just find it kind of ridiculous that everyone is bashing him when he's a 17 yr old sitting in jail for an accident. Imagine how you wouldve acted when you were 17 and sitting in jail... its a big wake up call and it must be hard. When i was 17, i wouldve been scared to sit in that jail also.
He didnt intend to do this. So everyone, just put yourself in their shoes and realize that there's only so much apologizing that can be done. When does it become too much? And you guys should put yourself in their shoes and realize that life goes on and while im sure they hated what went on, they surely didnt intend to cause any harm and because they are enjoying life 2 months after the fact going to the beach, it doesnt mean its disrespectful to the young marine who was unfortunately hurt...
