76. He's in jail, people. He has no privacy! Inmates are warned that their phone conversations are subject to monitoring and recording. This means that this idiot knows his calls are being recorded, that they aren't private. He's in jail, he has no privacy, so don't assume that he's afforded the same rights as you and me in the comfort and privacy of our own homes. And please don't waste any sympathy on this selfish piece of garbage that turned his friend into a vegetable (a fate WORSE than death) and feels no remorse. This piece of crap should be under the jail for years, not months.

77. Man up Nick,......you are responsible for that young man being in a coma, and not expected to wake up. You and yiour family have a lot of nerve badmouthing the young man and his brokenhearted family, especially the mother. You got off easy Nick,.....any one of the rest of us poor joes, would have been sentenced to a lot more,......you Nick, a big ol' sugar tit, got eight months. Maybe with the time you have incarcerated,.....will give you time to think about doing something positive with your life,......instead of thinking drifting as a life long ambition. Hulk is as much to blame,.......spoiling those kids with no introduction of resposibility. I take that back, at least Brooke is trying to do something with her career in music. A comment about his mother being a cougar,......go for it girl!,......Hulk was fiddling around with one of Brooke's friends, long before Mom started dating. What does that say about Hulk setting the example,.....is this one of those mid-life crisis things? A young man who you referred to as 'a best friend', now in a coma, you chose to badmouth him,...who was driving Nick? Who had been drinking Nick? Who was driving under the influence Nick? MAN UP Nick! you got off way easy, and for goodness sakes, stop crying like a big ol' tit*y baby, and stand up and be a man,....and pray for that 'my best friend', who in all probability will never have a future, family, or ever see his loved ones again. Shame, shame, shame on you and your over the hill pubescent adolescent behaving father.

78. To the person who commented this was wrong to post the recordings...it is PUBLIC record and there are signs posted that they might be recorded according to what Nancy Grace said. Nick is making it all about him, look what he did to his friend ! I am so sicken by how Nick and the rest of his family are reacting to this all, I was a fan of theirs but not any longer.
You know when you keep doing things wrong and against the law it does finally catch up with you. Take it like a man Nick and quit your crying and complaing. It is his parents fault to the way they raised him that he is acting like this. It is so obvious that they spoiled him wayyyyy to much and look now what has happen. God did not do this to his friend Nick did and for them to blame John is so wrong then to want to do a reality show about "the new nick" is soooo very wrong. Good luck Nick your sure going to need it, I will pray that you learn something from this terrible thing ~

79. I can't belevie how judgemental everyone is. Then again, that's probably who is getting the most airtime, space, ect... I think it was stupid for them to let him do the things he was doing. Especially wtih them being in the public eye. I feel really sorry for his freind too. But, why havn't I heard one person say that this "man" who was hurt was older and of age compared to Nick. HE CHOSE NOT TO WEAR A SEAT BELT AND GET IN A CAR, DRUNK, WITH A KID WHO WAS DRUNK AND GO DRAG RACING.!!!! He has been to war and had other adult experiences that would make you aware how short life is. As far as his poor mother, from what I understand she never was there for her son until this big accident and SHOW came up. Everything I've heard has been second hand, just like the rest of you. So none of us has any write to judge so harshly. Give your opinion. But, I would sure be careful how bad I judge someone in this situation, you may be next, and I'd like to see how everyone would treat you!!!!!!!

81. I think everyone needs to back off.... People are so harsh and cruel Yes he had a wreck and yes his friend ended up a vegtable but that does not mean that he has to live everyday of his life walking around feeling sorry about what happened I am sure he is sorry I am sure he feels bad it was his friend for God's sake but there is nothing he can do to change it not jail not pleasing all of you that are bashing him.. I am sure his friend knew that when he got in the car they could possibly have a wreck and so did Nick, the bad thing is that us normal everyday people don't get bashed but someone like him yeah everyone has got something to say, I hope none of you get in the car with your friends, moms, or daughters and something happens because it will come back on you and I hope you think about it.... I think you all need to GROW UP

82. this is a sad situation for both parties. Forget about who nicks parents are and think of nick as an individual. The first ticket nick got he should have had the keys taken away because driving is a earned privelge and not a luxury. secondly, the victim knew fully ahead of time that nick was not in a stable condition to drive and obviously knew about his driving history but he still chose to get in the car and not where a seatbelt. Not only that who in there right mind would supply the alcohol to nick being a underage person. So now nick is doing the time and he has his previliges taken away and hopefully in the mean time it will give him the oppurtunity to change his life around. all we can do is pray for victim and hope that he will make a good recovery.

83. You people need to leave this family alone. Get the hell over it! He screwed up, he clearly knows it and is paying for it. In a private conversation with their mother, anyone would complain. Plus, this family is going through a lot right now and attacking them does not change anything. This was Nick's doing and his whole family is being dragged into it for supporting their loved one. Which any human being would do. There are bad driver's all over the world and way worst than Nick. Why don't you go blog about ways on how to get old people's (70+) driver's licenses revoked.

86. I dont know what is the point making the tapes public, it's not funny this is very serious. Nick's friend is in a coma, Nick is still a 17 year old kid, come on. Just because a family has money does not mean that they are insensitive.

87. The jail tapes fall under the freedome of information act. They can be requested by anyone and once the local authorities receive the request the information has to be turned over. So NO to all you undercover Nick supporters there wont be a law suit.

88. Look you think that the Hogan's would be doing the same thing that the other family is doing if the tables were turned? I think that Nick needs to keep his butt in Jail till his time is up. I have been a Hogan's fan since i was little. But this crap has gone to far. He should of thought of what could happen when you speed like that. And his parents should not be worried about him, they should be worried about the boy that is in the hospital. What happens that he does not make it? Then Nick will be charged with murder.

89. In a phone call to his mother Linda last month, Nick said his life behind bars is unbearable.

Now to my opinions. Not being able to feed yourself. That is unbearable. Not being able to dress yourself. That is unbearable. Not being able to walk on your own. That is unbearable. Not being able to take your own shower. That is unbearable. Not being able to have a good time at a club. That is unbearable. Not being able to drive to your favorite places. That is unbearable. Not being able to be intimate with your girlfriend. That is unbearable. Etc., Etc. If you think I a talking about you Nick Bollea, think think again. I am talking about John Graziano. Remember him? He is the one you put in the hospital and may die. A Veteran.

I don't think you really care about what you did. If you did care, you would not be crying to daddy and mommy.
