Hulk Plans Secret Hearing: Don't Tell Mom!

Hulk Hogan seems to have been planning a secret hearing to get Nick out of the jail he now calls home.
Hulk Hogan, Nick Hogan
In one of the audiotaped phone conversations, you hear Hulk tell Nick that he's not going to show up at the hearing because he's too high profile and that the media would then show up and the judge would feel pressure "not to do the right thing."

It's unclear which hearing Hulk is talking about, but it's very clear the purpose of the hearing is to get Nick transferred to another facility. You hear Hulk urge Nick, "Don't tell your mom." He's afraid she'll come with all her divorce lawyers and attract the media.

Nick says he'll wear his jailhouse issue in court to create "sympathy" with the judge. Nick said in another conversation he was hoping for house arrest. Good luck with that, dude.

50. I HOPE TOO, SOMEBODY HEARS ALL THESE PHONE CONVERSATIONS AND GIVE NICK A LONGER SENTENCE. ONE LIKE HE DESERVES. 8 MONTHS IS NOTHING FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE, HE SHOULD STAND UP FOR WHAT HE HAS CAUSED. AND BE PUNISHED FOR HIS ACTS. BE RESPONSIBLE AND SHOW EVERYONE THAT JUST BECAUSE HE A CELEBRITY DON'T MEAN HE CAN GET AWAY WITH ANYTHING........BE A MAN A STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!!!

51. "THE JUDGE WILL FEEL PRESSURED TO DO THE RIGHT THING." OMGGGG, are you serious?? In that sentence, Hulk himself is admitting that staying in jail is the right thing to do, yet he is still going to try to get him out anyway. So sickening. If you don't teach your kids to take responsibility for their actions, lessons will never be learned. Oh and how about Nick "i'll wear the jumpsuit for the..ya know, SENSITIVITY FACTOR." AHHHH, please BOYCOTT any and all future shows for these selfish a$$holes!!!!!

52. What is wrong with these people??!! This stupid kid took a plea deal -- which was better than the 5 years his dumb arse would have gotten had the case gone to trial!

What needs to happen is whenever this spoiled, stupid brat calls his parents - they need to respond with "Just sit in there and do your time."

HE drove the car. HE drank the alcohol. HE injured his friend for life. HE copped the plea. At some point, he's got to stop trying to play manipulative teenager and realize that his parents are not going to be able to rescue him.

I can't wait to see the look on the Judge's face when they are stupid enough to head into court to complain because Little Nicky doesn't have a pillow or a window.

Hulk and Linda --- get him a stack of books and tell him to get comfortable. Maybe he can learn a foreign language while he's in there. Stop encouraging this idiot son of yours!!!

55. What a smuck, in order for this kid to learn he should spend more thn 6 months in Jail. If he gets out earlier the system is corrupt. If it was a none rich famous person they'd have to spend years but because it's a celebrity they get away with murder..

Great example Brandy killed a lady in a car accident and not one day has Brandy did time in jail…

58. I feel horrible for the victim in this situation and my heartfelt prayers go out to him and his family. My perception of this entire situation is that there was some "bad blood" between the families before any of this happened. From things that the Hogans stated, John was a part of the "Hogan Family" far more than he was his own. He vacationed with them and practically lived at their house. Brooke hinted in court that John's family wasn't the greatest before the accident. It's a very, very unfortunate lesson for a 17 (and let's not forget that Nick IS only 17) year old boy to have to learn. How many of us did really, really stupid things at 17, probably including and yet not limited to, drinking and driving. I DO think Nick deserves punishment for his actions but being in a maximum security MEN'S prison does seem a little extreme to me. I don't think he should get house arrest, that would be way too easy. He should be in a juvenile detention facility with a strict daily schedule with little down time. I think Linda's statement in one of the other taped conversations where she states that John's mom doesn't care about her son probably stems from the fact that his mom didn't seem to care much about him before the accident. Maybe Linda was more of a mom to John before this happened??? I don't know all of the facts, this is just my perception. I do know that if this were my 17 year old son, I certainly wouldn't want him where he is at. Again, he definitely SHOULD be punished, but total seclusion in a room with no windows for a 17 year old boy is too extreme. I don't think the Hogan's are horrible parents at all. I remember when they made the kids get jobs, they had rules they had to follow, with consequences if they didn't. Compared to some of the celebrity parents out there, the Hogan's were more on the "strict" side. I think they try to teach them life lessons. No one is perfect, every parent makes mistakes. I pray for all parties involved, I can't imagine being put in the same position, wether it's nick's mother, or John's. Let's also not forget that John CHOSE to get in that car. He knew the condition that Nick was in. Not saying that Nick is with out fault or guilt in anyway, just that John wasn't forced in to that car.

59. I feel so betrayed by Hulk, and what he and his son are saying. I grew up with him saying the eat your vitamins and say your prayers. I don't see him or his family as nothing more that dirt bags. these people have no remorse what so ever. we all should write to the courthouse that is holding the hearing and show that these people need to be held accountable for destroying someones life forever. Hulk's son deserved at least a 10 year sentence, this boy is a danger to the public at large, He has no sense of responsibility. I ask all of you to boycott any product from all of the Hogan family.
