Ashlee Simpson, Pete WentzSo who, you ask, was the phoney at Ashlee's nuptials? Rhymes with zomo.

Our moles tell us, when People cut a $1.4 deal for Ashlee's wedding pics, there was a g-string attached -- that Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo would be there.

It's kinda what we were thinking. Who'd pay that for Ashlee Simpson alone. That's why People wanted to put a pic of Jessica and Tony as an inset on the cover -- they sell, Ashlee doesn't.

Of course, the problem. Jessica and Tony split before the wedding. So you getting the picture why Tony showed? $$$$

A rep for People tells TMZ, "There is absolutely no truth to this."

34. The first thing i thought when i seen the cover on people's website was, the opposit of this post.
I thought it was joe simpson that made a deal that people would get the wedding photos if people included pics of jess and tony to prove they are still together. Team jess is working hard to deny all rumors of the break up.
Why would people want pics of a washed up 'never was'... and a football player who she isn't even dating anymore. then spin it to make them look like this happy couple. Everyone knows that drama sells more mags then happy couples. I would rather seen a story of how jess was crying her eyes out as ashlee wed her perfect groom.

40. I saw the pics and he seemed to be having a great time. I would have believed the story of him getting paid to be there if he ws sitting there looking bored, but he was dancing all over Jess and having a great time. I think they are still together.

The real story here is that Ash married a man that may love men! I dont buy that relationship for a second.

41. I just do not get it...I would never be around somebody I broke up with just for money. I do not believe it. Unless these people are desperate for the almighty dollar. Surprized myself being an older person but I loved Ashley's wedding photos , loved her wedding theme and her dress, She really has her own style and marches to her own drummer, No cookie cutter is she.
I would have enjoyed the photos regardless if Jessica & Tony were in them or not

Jen is using john mayor because hes popular and she isn't anymore . i dont believe she has a relationship with him either. he doesnt keep them that long.
and if shes bashing Brad sex life that means this girl definitely needs a life !
