46. #40- Bill, good observation.

I can't see where they could allow anyone to speak in code given the possibility of conspiring, as he pointed out.

47. It sounds as though Nick hasn't grasped the "lingo" yet.....................yes, I did hear the paper rustling too. Everytime Hulk asked Nick a question there was a long pregnant pause with Nick, as he was trying to read the list with the proper "lingo" on it!

A sad situation for everyone involved! Everyone!

49. Nick, the chip off the old block, Bollea, and the Hulkster, have really showed their true colors. They have exhibited zero remorse for their criminal behavior which has resulted in the worse than death state of a supposed close friend of the family. Some close friends they turned out to be.
Sure, John Graziano must accept some of the responsibility for the state he is in. He must have been aware of Nicks reckless ways and his need for speed. A seat belt would have been a wise move. You can liken it to getting on a rollercoaster and standing up and waving your hands in the air on the big drop.
But Nick and his "father" are accepting no responsibility and showing no remorse as evidenced by the recently released jail-house recordings. And the latest nonsensical jail-house jibberish emphasizes that both Nick and dad are stuck on stupid.
The ultimate "BAD DAD" is blaming the victim and God for doing it to John and the Nickster's only concern is that John was too negative and "how much money can make the minute I walk outta here"?
I for one won't be contributing to any of this f'd up families future endeavors!

51. To, Put Yourself In Their Shoes ..., I can honestly say this would NEVER happen to me. Why? Because I would never do what Nick did. It's all about being a responsible person and not behaving like a jackass all of the time.

53. Mistake? Let's recap. Nick was illegally drinking alcohol underage;nick got behind the wheel of a racing car;nick strret-raced another car;nick crashed and destroyed the life of his passenger;nick got off easy, sentenced to only 8 months in jail;nick cried to his mommy because he didn't have a room with a view;nick whined to his daddy, begging him to call the judge and get him sprung, to house arrest;nick yammered about the size of his cell;nick, in jail, cast aspersions upon the character of his victim;nick complained that his lawyer didn't keep him out of jail, like he was supposed to;nick blubbered that he was being deprived of a ride in an escalade...Had enough yet, Put Yourself in Their Shoes? You're insipid, pathetic attempt to defend the Bolleas is beyond belief and reason.

First off, I understand you can't spell the proper form of "new".

Second, don't tell us that John is to blame and he would want total forgiveness for Nick. You are a piece of trash trying to speak for a man who never will speak again and for his family.

Look at the pictures of John Graziano. I know we all make mistakes, but this is the kind of mistake that deserves punishment. You just don't get it, do you. A best friend does not drive like a total idiot with you in the car. Certainly not when you are not wearing a seatbelt.

ONE person controlled that car that night. One person caused that accident. One person. And this wasn't the kind of accident that happened when someone was driving in a responsible manner. There is a big difference.

One last thing. You are NOT in John Graziano's shoes. You are not in his family's shoes. You have no idea what that's like so don't you DARE try to speak for him.

56. The "izz" speak is carny talk - it is the secret language the wrestlers used to use so no one would overhear them talking about fixing their matches. (It's called "kayfabe" -- carnyspeak for "fake.")

Now that everyone knows wrestling is fake, the carny talk isn't needed by the wrestlers anymore. Hogan is always dropping those little phrases into his regular speech, and now he's got his kid doing it.

57. Just a little background:

They are not speaking in Snoop Dogg, or a language they made up. This language is called "carny" and just as it sounds it was created by those in the carnival business. The language was widely used in the early and mid 1900s by those in the professional wrestling business. Back in the days that many thought that pro wrestling was not staged, the promoters and wrestlers would use this type of talk to discuss the inner workings of the business aroud the fans or "marks" who were not wise to the working of the business. Therefore, Hogan is using some of his pro wrestling knowledge to help in this situatio.

The basis of the language is to add the "iz" after the first consonant sound of the word. It is very similar to, and was most likley the basis for what would eventually become snoop dog speak.

Here is a wikipedia on carny: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carny

-----------

It's actually better for the prosecution if they let it play out.

This tape and the family's attempt at codespeak could very well come back to haunt the Hogans at some time in the future. They could very well be seen (and seized) by the prosecution as evidence of conspiratorial conduct (NOT a good thing.)

60. Everybody here should start with boycotting American Gladiator, since Hulk now hosts that.

As far as this stupid family goes, collectively they have a combined IQ of 100. The father is probably the biggest idiot, because he does not see that his actions here are not helping his son to do his time. All this talk about house arrest -- which he will not get, because the simple fact is that this family is simply NOT WORTH the heat that the Judge will get should he be ridiculous enough to let him out.

All of this complaining has to do with not having a pillow and wanting a window, so that he could see outside. Nick, you're in jail!! There is nothing for you to see!!

How stupid this family is! Now the father has lowered himself down to the kindergarten nature of his son, complete with a "secret language." Stupid and disgraceful. They should all be ashamed of themselves!
