Hulk's Emancipation Proclamation

For reasons that defy explanation, Hulk Hogan explained to his son Nick that he thought it would be a good idea for him to be emancipated, so that he can "make his own decisions."

1. He is going to be 18 in July. Why emancipation now?

2. Doesn't this mean if he is sued, they can use the dad's money.. They can only sue for Nick's Estate??

3. DONT YOU HAVE TO BE AN ADULT TO DO THAT. NICK HOGAN IS A CHILD. A WHINING CRYING BABY. JUST ASK HIS FAT MOTHER AND HIS FAT SISTER AND HIS PHONY WASHED UP FATHER.

4. I'll bet Hulk has his own selfish reasons for suggest emancipation which don't include Nick. It's all about the money with Hulk.
I hope if he is emancipated, they put him in with the adult population. I'll send him some soap on a rope. Promise.

5. This family is so stupid! WOW! My eyes are so open to this trashy family....so bad he has to be a dad and sign something!

6. Janelle
I'm not positive but I don't think so. Nick was 17 when this tragedy occurred and under his parents supervision. Parents are held liable.

7. By being responsible for his own actions he can make
decisions without his warped Dads viewpoint and he
in turn can live his own life unfettered by his stupid kid.
Likewise...his Dad had the car crash that happened today
all planned out. Just one more piece of' their screwed up
puzzle and life.
Next story....Brooke gets knocked up by the Hulkster
Way to go...Bro....take those vitamins and say those
prayers because someone will need them.

8. I'm wondering if being emancipated means being financially responsible for himself-as in they have to sue him and not his parents?????

new ploy..........new low!

but if he wasn't emancipated at the time of the accident-then what

I don't know legalities-anyone out there know-is it different from state to state?
if yes-what about Florida-anyone know??

can't the courts see through this and deny it-it's not like he's estranged from his parents and his income tax would show them declaring him as their dependent minor child-and his tax returns if he has filed one-will show that he doesn't earn enough to support himself I would think

any ideas out there???? I can't be the only suspicious mind

10. Well duh, Emancipated = no child support for Linda.

11. Go!
Disown your own kid!
To avoid the legal payout!!!!
If they are not 'related'
hulk and linda aren't liable!

12. I am sure this all has something to do with hiding the family assets. Even though he did the crime as a minor there is probably something that will then make him liable now. You can be sure the sleeze family knows all the tricks to avoid having to take financial responsibility. They ought to be happy it was not their son who will never be right again and be more than glad to pay for the very best of care for John. I hate these bastards.

13. If the Hogan family is so desperate to avoid a legal payout,
why don't they just fake their own deaths?
Cool.

14. What a bunch of crap. Nick turns 18 in July, 6 weeks or so away and his dad is ready to throw in the towel on him. Unbelievable. I bet the legal fees are mounting and this way Hulky gets out of his obligation to pay. As long as Nick is a minor, Hulky is responsible for all his debts. If Nicky is emancipated, then the lawyers have to go after him, or most likely he'll be eligible for a public defender. As long as Hulk is footing the bill, Nick can't get free legal counsel because Daddy makes too much money. Nick has no money, so he's eligible once he becomes an adult.

Way to go Hulk. You're baling on your son, just like you baled on John Graziano who is laying senseless in a dingy military hospital, after you PROMISED him the best care this country has to offer.
