100. I am getting so freaking tired of people who say this is karma or that is karma who clearly have no bleeding idea what "karma" really is. Karma is punishment for a person's mistakes. Karma never punishes someone for someone else's mistake. Karma doesn't even punish the child for the father's mistakes. For karma to punish the people of China for its government's sins would be the height of karmic irony. It just doesn't work that way. Karmic is not direct payback. If you hit a someone with your car, it doesn't mean that you will be hit by a car and it absolutely doesn't mean that if you hit a child, someone will hit your child which is what Sharon Stone's comment implies.
