Sanjaya Prepares for Retirement

Hold on to your scrunchie! Despite being on his 16th minute of fame, pony-hawked "Idol" wannabeen Sanjaya Malakar is going Nationwide.

Instead of performing at the opening of an outlet mall or local balloon festival like his fellow "Idol" losers, Sanji followed in the bankrupt footsteps of MC Hammer and Kevin Federline and filmed the latest ad for Nationwide insurance in India today.

The theme of the commercial is about planning for your retirement -- something that happened to Sanjaya the minute he was voted off "A.I."

19. This kid has personality and attitude and a HUGE tweenie fan base!!..He will make a ton of $$ doing this commercial and whatever else his agents can line up for him..they r getting him ready for a fall season show I bet!! Good for him.

21. Wow TMZ, surprise youre down to this type of celeb news/gossip. Couldn't get Lindsay Lohan pics with her girlfriend like OMG did? You must be the local/budget type website for this type of stuff. Even your employees on your show of Fox look like a bunch of losers. Are they the college kids who majored in Journalism but couldn't get a "real" job so they now work for you?
