47. So Sad! Just reading this breaks my heart ... I'm a new Mom and I can't imagine what the family must be going through. I will be praying for them and I'm also going to put them on the prayer list at our church. What a tragedy!

Wow, I remember being in the hospital with my preemie (i'm thanking god right now that i was able to bring him home) and the mother in the next room's baby died, just thinking about her screams and crying breaks my heart to this very day, I can only imagine what they are going through but his blog was very important for all you mothers, love and hug your babies right now because tomorrow isn't promised.

Also, I wonder if they tried the "caffine" treatments or the steroid shots with the mom, I truly believe that's what saved my baby's life. This really touched me because my baby's middle name is Xavier and it reminds me of how close I came to that very fate.

Peace be with the mom and x, hopefully their hearts will heal - this is just awful

53. How very sad that these people have to go through this, there is nothing like the pain of losing a baby. I hope that the public will allow these people to greive in peace, and not run all kinds of trashy stories or post rude and heartless comments about these people( im talking to you candy). 55. Yes, it's cruel to say but, most likely, it was negatively affected by chemically grown pot and other drugs ingested by the parents.

I cannot wait until the rap culture (drug and thug activity) is history in America!

58. Mara, you're just as stupid as Candy. How aweful of you to insinuate that the mother did any type of drugs during her pregnancy. And did you also know that pot was here LONG before Rap??? In fact, consuming alcohol, tabacco, over the counter pain medicine, and caffeine (all LEGAL drugs) can do more harm than the affects of marijuana. Could you please remove yourself from the rock that you live under and get an education while you are still viable enough to read? Give the family a break and leave your condolences and keep your stupid comments to yourself and your inbred family.

"most likely" - you are "most likely" a single woman who has never had the joy of having a child, or the tragedy of losing one. so you "most likely" do NOT know what you're talking about. "most likely", the baby's mother wasn't smoking weed and doing drugs when she was pregnant. mara, on the other hand, is "most likely" born to a crack-addicted mother and now does not possess a sympathy gene...
