Hockey star Mike Comrie made an amazing breakaway last night -- from his crutches.
It seems like only yesterday we were watching Hilary Duff's little hopalong hobble out of restaurants after having hip surgery ... oh right, it was.

3. gee tmz, ond day u go to the doc and he says, " everything looks good, cast is coming off or you don't need the tensor bandage anymore, or no more physio, or even NO MORE CRUTCHES!!!"...yes tmz writers...people do heal and follow Doc's orders.

6. He probably got into the Hyperbolic chamber to heal up quickly. The Edmonton Oilers used to have one in their dressing room... along with a shelf filled with anabolic steroids... but that's another story.
Didn't you ever wonder how professional athletes recover from injuries a lot faster than regular... you know... non-athletes? The 'special medication' helps as well.

10. Never under estimate the healing power of a hockey player. They are tougher than ANY other athlete!
There are no other competitors who get stitches during a game and return to play… None!

11. I don't really like Hillary. She's always wanted to act older than she really is. First thing first, act your age. I saw her at the premier of her movie The Perfect Man. Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora walk in through the crowd and sign TONS of autographs and pose for pics. Hillary stands there with a microphone taking questions from a moderator while she stares at Heather because all the fans are absolutely thrilled with Heather (and shows a lot of love with her fans). It almost felt like Hillary had a touch of jealousy. Hillary later walks through and signs just a FEW autographs, walking quickly. That was my impression of her, you do the math.
Check out the weights she has on as earings... thats something an older movie star like Elizabeth Taylor would wear.

12. Never paid any attention to this girl before but she really is becoming a beautiful woman...and she really seemed to handle her split from Joel Madden and his subsequent hook-up with Nicole Ritchie and the baby all like an adult woman would. She doesn't seem to be quick to toss off her "young" fans like Miley Cyrus is (and others before her have) while being willing to take supporting roles in films until she matures into adult roles suited to her. This one may just be in the business for the long run...like Jodi Foster and Helen Hunt...and not like all the other child stars that tried to burn too bright too fast and thus burnt out. Again, I think she looks very beautiful and her earrings are georgeous!

13. Umm, why is a miracle????? Mike actually had surgery, I don't understand this at all. Where he was walking there it was probably his first day able to be off crutches...

15. #12 - Miley Cyrus doesnt toss off her young fans, I've seen that girl sign away like crazy. Miley is tons more popular than Duff, and she's even bought the dumb paps food on occassion. Miley is a pretty humble girl, which is way more attractive than a big shiny forehead.
