Emigrate means to to leave one country or region to settle in another; migrate: to emigrate from Ireland to Australia.
Hence Kane's parents emigrated from Russia
Or you could say Kane's parents immigrated to the United States

What is "Memba" ? I see this word all athe time on TMZ. It seems like maybe an African word, like one of the names from the Lion King. It isn't in the dictionary. It can't just be everyone's nickname. I don't get it.
