53. I ran into Bill Murray and his wife when they came into the Three Dog Bakery I run in kansas City last week. He was fairly grumpy but his wife seemed fine! She was cordial and talked to me for a while while Bill searched the shelves for what he needed. They left holding hands! It's amazing how much changes in a week!

54. I have no trouble believing this. I'm a huge fan of Bill Murray but he has a long history of violent outbursts and bizarre behavior. I remember when he was David Letterman's very first guest and he looked so ill and pasty I had the distinct impression that he is mentally ill and does everyone remember when he suddenly announced he was trying out for the NBA? He was dead serious but the story disappeared as quickly as it turned up, it was no publicity stunt. As a fan I tried looking up information about him on the internet a couple of years ago and strangely it seemed like every link to a negative story was mysteriously broken. I'm not saying he actually went through the web and had all the negative stories removed but....???
Regardless of his personal problems though, I still think he is one of the funniest most talented comedians to come out of the 20th century and his dramatic roles have been no slouch either.

56. For those of you calling the wife a golddigger, you must be very bitter about your own financial situation. This is a woman who keeps a very low profile and seems to be a regular mom. Doesn't sound like she's asking for too much. She IS raising 4 boys who are the sons of a very famous person. One of the boys is in my child's class and is a very bright, well-mannered boy who does not bring attention on himself at all. The fact that Bill Murray is his father rarely comes up in class and I can tell you that these are real people and everyone in this small community is sick over what these children are having to deal with as far as the media attention. These are children who have to go to school every day and play sports with other children who read newspapers and hear their parents talking.Thankfully, school is almost out. I do not know either parent I can tell you that this is very sad b/c of the children. No one knows what goes on in other people's lives and relationships. Think about the children when you are so busy gloating over this junk~

58. BILLY MURRAYS DIVORCE PAPERS SHOULD NOT BE MADE PUBLIC, (OR ANYONE ELSE'S FOR THAT MATTER). LETS REMEMBER HERE THERE ARE SEVERAL CHILDREN WHO WILL FOREVER SUFFER THE PAIN FROM THIS DIVORCE.
JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE IS A CELEBRITY DOESNT MEAN THAT THEIR CHILDREN SHOULD HAVE TO SUFFER SUCH PUBLIC HUMILIATION. THEY DID NOT ASK FOR THE PUBLIC LIFE OF A CELEBRITY.

59. Oh yes, she had 4 children with this guy so she could take his money...I don't think so! He sounds like a real jerk! My heart goes out to the family. What a horrible example for his sons! Every parents has the responsibility to show love and respect to their spouse. This teaches the children all about the important things in life, grounds them. Bill Murray get over your nasty, selfish self.

60. I met Bill at the ATT golf tourney in Pebble Beach. He was a great guy. We had lunch together and when I offered to buy him a beer he refused saying he doesn't like drinking during the day. I said I was surprized because I heard that he was quite the drinker. He laughed and said he likes to play with the media and often sets them up with rumors about himself. I said does that include the rumor of your marijuana preference. He laughed again and said he purposely spread that one so that the kids would think he's "cool" and would go see his movies. He said when you get older you have to do what you can to keep everyone interested. And by the way if I every smoke that stuff I'd have an asthma attack that would land me in the hospital. We continued to talk for over an hour before he had to return the golf tourney. One of the things that really impressed me about Bill was his genuine interest in how my family was. He must have talked for fifteen minutes about how much he loved his wife and how proud he was of his kids. He said he makes sure every day, even when he's on a set or away from home he has some kind of quality contact with each of them. When he got up to leave he shook my hand, thanked me for a nice time, paid the bill and left what looked to be a 50% tip. This is one terrific and caring guy. I know we all have our problems but are any of them really as bad as those gossipers want us to believe. There's something about human nature that when we rip someone apart we feel so much better about ouselves. Too bad. Gary
