Clay Aiken Impregnates Someone!

Clay AikenTMZ has learned Clay Aiken is going to be a daddy. In case you didn't process that, Clay Aiken is going to be a daddy.

Here's what we know. Multiple sources tell us the mother is Jaymes Foster, a record producer and Clay's best friend. He lives at her home when he's in L.A.

We're told 50-year-old Foster, who produced several Aiken CDs, is due in August. She's the sister of record mogul David Foster. She divorced a few years back and has no kids. Aiken is 29.

We're told Foster was artificially inseminated. But Clay is a lot more than sperm -- we're told he will have an active role in raising the child.

No immediate word from Aiken's rep.

391. Couples use artificial insemination every day but because it's Clay, it automatically *confirms* that he's gay? Grow up!! It could mean that the couple had a hard time conceiving the *old fashioned* way. If a lot of people were best friends before they got married, slept together or conceived a child maybe there wouldn't be so many divorces, splits or unwanted children!!!

396. Multiple Sources, huh? Want me to name a few? They've been leaving comments under several screen names each. I would imagine it's the same little group from the message boards at Kelly Clarkson Express and Soulful Ruben...waves to Groucho, Emach, Woodle, et al. They made up the previous tabloid stories so why not this one. Nice to know where you get your news.

400. Interesting find. Guess who owns minor stock in TMZ? Bertlesmann, parent company of BMG. So now we know that TMZ is related to American Idol and just another tentacle in the smear campaign. 405. I have to agree with #14. Clay is a great guy! His work for autistic children is phenomenal! And why do all of you care if he is gay or not? He's a good person who makes a very positive contribution to the world! What do you do for the world?
