62. WOW!!! What is TMZ thinking??? Follwoing David Archuleta around? They could be following your niece around. You need to look into Miss America. I bet she is praying for "world peace". The media should be following your niece around and reporting on the wacked out family promoting her.Let me guess....she gets all her brains, beauty..athletic abililities from you!


My 15 year old niece has a 5.0 GPA (she's a straight A Honor Student) and is also the #1 ranked girl on her Varsity Golf, Tennis, and Swim teams. She was named both Student and Athlete of the Year and she is only a FRESHMAN! And she is unbiasedly stunning! Her mom has been repeatedly asked to sign her with modeling agencies but her mom never wanted "looks" to be her focus in life.She is also active with charity work and tutors pregnant high school students so they can get their high school diploma. She received a letter from the President calling her a future leader of America and has received National Scholorship Awards. She may be a professional athlete and as an adult, she may do some modeling, but she wants to be a doctor.

64. I am saying there are thousands and thousands and thousands of kids that are 17 that are doing great things with their lives despite not being on the morning news! And just because he is on the morning news doesn't make him more specail then these other kids! Like being a celebrity is beeter than being the researcher who finds the cures for diseases and what not!! You kept bringing up what other 17 year old are doing...so I'm just pointing out that there are thousands and thousands and thousands each year who are applying to Ivy League and regular colleges to make a great life for themselves...being famous is NOT a righteous cause! And I don't take any credit for my Niece and my family is not whacked out. We are upper middle class and all college graduates with successful professional lives. My niece plans on Princeton and my nephew plans on Westpoint. When my niece is 18, if she chooses to pursue modeling, she will! And then, yes, TMZ will be following her around! But that does not make someone special! These show biz parents should put more emphasis on school first, like Jodie Foster going to Yale and Brooke Shields...rather than having them end up like Lohan and Spears!

66. And did you know that the word "Thespian", meaning actor/actress, is derived from an ancient (can't remember which language) word for "prostitute"? It's true! And with the way today's Hollywood is so publicly exposing, they are putting the real meaning to the word in its proper perspective!! My point also being, kids should be in school, not working full time and trying to be famous. Sure, Britney may never have to work again in her lifetime...but is that really a good thing? I find work does every body good. It's a self-esteem thing. So she'll just party the rest of her life? And what about her kids? So, glad you like David Archuleta, run out and buy his CD and T-shirts, but it is hardly noble and it is not better than what hundreds of thousands of 17 year olds are doing by going to college right now. Just my opinion...

Hey Kate, PantherTees probably told you not to say anything because they probably don't have the licensing rights to be selling David Archuleta's name or likeness and they are trying to stay one step ahead of the law while they cash in quick and then shut down and run with the money til the next AI or other tween sensation they can use to bilk tweens out of their money!! 72. TMZ hates this kid. what did he ever do to you? Why won't you just leave him alone? All you ever do is write bad things about him that would be really hurtful to anyone. I just don't get the vendetta against him. If you don't like him, don't watch him and don't read about him. It's not his fault he's getting all this press. It is funny that US Magazine has removed this artice… it is even funnier that in the interview it was talked about how David Archuleta is gay and involved in a gay relationship with Phillip Daggett. Good thing I seen the article and also good thing that even though it is removed you can see Jeff Archuleta’s response to the question about David being involved with Phillip Daggett. He said that he does not understand how his son being gay has anything to do with the talent that he has. To quote Jeff Archuleta he has said “Honestly does him being gay take away anything from his great voice or his personality?” and if you follow this link you can see this for yourself, but when you go to click on the link to see the story, all of a sudden it will not let you see it… what the hell kind of coverup is this?
