Harvey's Dead

Harvey KormanLegendary comedic actor Harvey Korman died today. He was 81.

The actor, possibly best known for his stint on the "The Carol Burnett Show" and in the film "Blazing Saddles," died at UCLA Medical Center after suffering complications from the rupture of an abdominal aortic aneurysm four months ago.

Carol Burnett's assistant told the AP the actress was devastated by the news, but she has not yet released a statement.

He is survived by his wife and four children.

I loved watching Harvey and Tim Conway try to keep it together on the Carol Burnett show. My mom saw them last year and said still funny as ever. Harvey.. you will be missed!

TMZ, U KIDS R JUST TACTLESS AND I FEEL SORRY FOR U THAT U WERE NOT EVEN THOUGHT OF WHEN THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW AIRED...REGARDLESS, UR HEADINGS R DEPLORABLE FOR ANY PERSON WHO HAS PASSED AWAY!!...JUST GOES TO SHOW U THE CULTURE ( OR SHOULD I SAY LACK OF ) THAT IS OUT THERE NOW....anyways, I will always remember Harvey giving my mom the biggest laughs along with Tim and Carol...such great memories...something this generation will never experience because the comic greats r gone....Jim Carrey is a genious and so is Robin Williams...but that is as close as we get...u have the BLOCK BUSTER comedic actors out there now on which rate abt 2 out of 10 with talent...they make millions,, and I don't need to name them...sad but true!!!!!!...will miss forever the GOOD OLD FASHIONED TRUE COMEDIC ACTORS!!!...and will never forget u Harvey!

93. I was not allowed to watch "Saturday Night Live" growing up. We never missed "The Carol Burnett Show" though. Thanks for the memories Harvey...peace to your family.

104. Rst in peace, Mr. Korman. And thank you for the gift of laughter! It was a ritual in my family to watch the Carol Burnett Show. Loved to watch Harvey work with Carol and Tim.
And we can't forget his work with Mel Brooks! Ahhhh, I'm smiling now ^,^
Thank you, sir! I've enjoyed your movies and the C.B. Show with my kids and will continue to pass those memories down to my future grand kids! You will live on and bring laughter to new generations :o)
