79. Kirk Douglas is an ICON. At 91 years of age, give him a break!!! This man has overcome strokes and has continued to appear in movies with his disabilities to shine at an age when many give up.

He gives me hope!

To all who have overcome disabilities and have plodded on with their lives, I am grateful that you show us your mettle and your spirit.

Age gives us widom, hope and disabilities....Pray that you are as courageous as this man.

Just wait until you reach that age...most of you won't and if you do you'll probably be all alone in some nursing home wondering why you have no loved ones around you. Mr. Douglas has contributed so much to mankind both in his work and deeds. He also has one of the longest, happiest marriages. What have you idiots contributed to this world?

88. Are we also forgetting that Kirk is still recovering from a stroke he suffered a few years ago. For a many in his 90's that has dealt with what could have been deadly affliction...I think he looks pretty damn good.

89. What is with the rude comments from readers regarding Kirk Douglas? How stupid! This man was nearly killed in a 1991 helicopter accident and had a massive stroke in 1996 that left him unable to speak clearly.. He wanted to die then but fought hard to regain his speech and is enjoying his final years. What is wrong with that? Do you think he wanted to be 91 years old and outlive one of his own sons? I admire this man for having the courage to go out and do these things. Those who made those nasty comments wouldn't be so judgemental if they were 91. Believe me, the years go by fast and suddenly you are old. Laugh about him then!
