36. While her comment was in bad taste, come on. I had the same thoughts pass through my mind when I saw all the buildings that had colasped. China sends there substandard products and building material to this country (and who knows what other countries), so why is it a surprise that they themselves wouldn't use them to save money. China gets upset whenever the United States questions them and have the nerve to want an apology, Did I miss something where China said sorry for the tainted food (human and animal) or about the substandard building materials, or better yet the tainted toys they made for children.

How about they lay off Sharon Stone and apologize to their own people for the mess their government has put them in by using substandard materials. And why does the United States even do business with this communist country, they should be "off limits" to us like Cuba. Look at how they treated that aircraft that had to make an emergency landing there a few years ago.

While again I feel terrible for the people that were injured and my heart grieves for those who lost someone and most cases their only child, China needs to take responsibity for what they have done to their own people including the monks. If only they could speake out against their government like the way we the people of the United States did when our government mistreated the people that were victims of hurricane Katrina. But they can't now can they unless they want to put in prison or murdered by their governments communist ways.

I have no problem with Sharon Stone giving her opinion on China or Tibet. What I have a problem with is her "apology". Did she believe what she said? if she did she has nothing to apologize for. My point is that she has no principles because she wouldn't stand behind her words when faced with the consequences. If the consequences were here because sh said something about our government she would scream censorship. Since it's China she just says: 'what opinion. I don't have no stinkin' opinion. Give me the money." Again, I say she is a total fraud with no principles.
