This is exactly how the rich stay rich, by being tightwads. They won't flinch when they spend thousands on a night out but their buttcheeks tighten when they have to fork out a few dollars for a worthy cause.

Those aren't "kids." They are scam artists. Don't encourage them. I am sure they play as much basketball as Greasy does.And no one but TMZ knows who that Greasy dude is anyway. He was just an easy mark on the street.

Seriously - do you actually believe these were 'kids" selling candy for their basketball team? This is one of the oldest scams in the book. These sort of rip-off artists are on the NYC streets all the time. Usually, the candy is stolen and they're selling either to support their own habits or those of their dealers. So yeah, I would just walk by as well. Next time, don't be so quick to judge, TMZ.
