Fat Lady to Sing the "Truth"

Inconvenient Truth to become an operaAs if a movie based on a PowerPoint presentation wasn't boring enough, now "An Inconvenient Truth" will put audiences to sleep via opera music.

The legendary La Scala opera house in Milan plans to do an opera version of Al Gore's documentary during its 2011 season. Italian composer Giorgio Battistelli hopes the opera will help people see the world's environmental predicament from a fresh point of view.

We hear Act 1, "Carbon Footprint, Walk on By", is going to be awesome.

6. Al Gore is the biggest hypocrite this planet has seen. He preaches about global warming but is one of the heaviest individual energy users in the world. He need to shut his hole and start looking at his own carbon footprint.

11. how pathetic that a opera uses this as a subject matter. If anything, it takes away any credibility. While Al flies around in his jet polluting the world giving his half baked speech, he continues to profit off of scaring people about something even scientists are not in agreement with. Gore is an opportunist. Pure and simple.
