24. Let's be honest: Barack Obama is the first Affirmative Action Presidential Candidate. I am not saying he's not a smart and accomplished guy; he is. But he has benefitted from society's efforts to boost the nation's blacks through education and hiring in the past. And now, the Affirmative Action mentality is so ingrained in broad strata of society that you see an overwhelmingly white state like Iowa coming out in a landslide to show support for a black man doing well. Even in the obvious reality that his opponent at the time, Hillary Clinton, was and is a much more experienced and competent candidate by any objective measure.
