Move over Matthew McConaughey, there's a new shirtless surfer on the scene -- John Mayer.

The tatted up singer hit the surf in Hawaii -- sans a certain female friend -- and showed off his adult contemporary muscles and stomach bush.

This is called giving back to your fans.
