31. This poor little girl is getting so much ridicule because of her stupid mother. All she tried to do was go on an over rated reality show to try and get some notoriety. & because of this idiotic moron she is getting beat down.
It's to bad she couldn't choose her parents, because I'll bet that if she had the chance her pick would have been Joan Crawford(no more wire hangers for plastic surgery!), or anybody else. This poor girl's mother Michele Smith,Hade, Pike, or Lamas what ever name she uses for the month that she hasn't written bad cheques or burned anyone out of money should pick herself up buy her boot straps collect all her baggage and scrape her raggedy butt body & her used up streched marked used up reworked vajayjay and haul it to the incinerator and burn it. 32. Typical American-full-of-themselves BS. There is no reason why on earth a successful merchant banker/global financier living and working in London - by far the world's largest forex centre - would seek to marry an American purely for a green card and live in a country with such a turbulent economy. I dare say he's far more wealthy than any idiot reporting for TMZ.

The only US city which be remotely attractive to Matt given his career would be NYC, but he's better off either staying in London or working in Frankfurt or in a forex market in the Far East.

33. I worked with this girl's mother in Malibu. Everything that's being said here about her is absolutely true. It's very sad that this girl is being taken down with her shameful mother. However, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Contempo Casuals isn't this girl's problem. It's her mother who has obviously ticked off a lot of people including my boss. I'd like to feel bad at this point, but it's hard because this gal's mother hasn't learned her lesson this time. It will only be a matter of time before we see some kind of seedy headline on cheap rag saying Shayne's mother Michele is in jail. I love Matt Grant and think he can do so much better than getting involved in this family. I was sickened when he chose this girl. She's very pretty, but that can only get you so far. I'm sure he's learned that the hard way now. At least he learned it before his bank account was cleaned out and he was left for broke. I wish him well and hope he does something in television. I understand why he is saving face now. Poor guy is embarrassed by everything he has learned about this family.

34. Oh My God! I can't believe what people are crawling out the woodwork to say about this family. Maybe TMZ should do some kind of expose on these people. They seem to like writing about low-life celebrities. Now is a better time. So, Shayne didn't buy her mother that home? It was a rental and they stole a TV out of it? Is there any proof of that? I think that would make a great story. Why isn't TMZ jumping on this one and investigating these stories about this crazy family! Leave Britney alone for a while and go after this motley crew! LOL I feel bad for Matt, but he's the idiot who chose this skank as his potential bride. Didn't he see what she would look like in the future years? Yuck!

35. Does anyone think that Matt Grant needs to get a green card to stay in our country? I highly doubt it with our economy failing the way it is and the English quid blows the American dollar out of the water. Not to mention, I doubt with Matt's education and background that he was desperate to be with Shayne for the limelight. He was already in the limelight when he was chosen as the Bachelor for the 12th season. It's obvious that Shayne Lamas is the desperate one looking to boost her D-rated career. Before the show even ended, she poses nude for Girls Gone Wild magazine!! Why did Playboy feel she was too sleazy for their magazine? Everytime I turn around I see something horrible and derogatory written about her and her family. Whoever described her as a skank in the previous posts really summed up what this gal and her family are all about. Even her dad is a washed up "has-been" working whatever he can to keep up with his child support payments. What a pity! I'm glad Matt dumped her. She never deserved him to begin with. None of those bimbos from that show deserved him. ABC did a horrible job weeding out these low life women. No wonder why there hasn't been a successful marriage yet from the Bachelor. Matt good luck to you, you're a class act and you're even going to be classier once you seperate yourself from this leech of a girl! If she had any class she would return that ring to Matt. If you're not going to go through with a wedding, you don't keep the ring. Any decent, self-respecting woman knows that. An engagement ring is a promise of marriage not a lovely parting gift to go hock somewhere at a pawn shop.

38. I'm a big fan of the Bachelor show. It was obvious the show was fixed. Shayne had more air time and talk time than any of the girls. It seemed like the whole show was about her and what she had to say. I was very unhappy when Matt chose this girl. I knew she wasn't the right girl for him from the beginning. I didn't buy into her sweetness or the fact that she didn't get catty with the rest of the girls. This gal had an agenda and that was to win at all costs. I don't deny that there was some chemistry between these two, but at the same time I knew this wasn't going to work or last with them. I am glad they are over and done with. Matt deserves so much better than this girl. She always came across as fake and as if she was acting. If she's going to make it in the industry, she needs to get acting lessons. And doing that magazine was definitely the epitome of no class and desperation for fame.

40. I went to school with this girl and her brother. Total losers and drug addicts! These people are not nice people. I really do hope this bachelor guy broke up with her. Last time she was here visiting she was begging for money. Always causing some kind of problems and thinking they were better than everyone else. It doesn't surprise me to see people posting nasty stuff about them here.

41. Poor girl but if there is any truth to what some of these people are posting that's just sad and I hope she pulls her life together. I hope Matt and Shayne didn't break up, but if they did I'm sure they have their own reasons. Also, I don't think Matt would be desperate to get into our country. I'm sure we would welcome him with open arms.
