32. 20. This video is totally inane! Parenthood is easy when you have nannies and don't have to worry about an income.

Excuse me, but you know this from personal experience? I am a single parent and when my kids were young I had a nanny (very common in the major metropolitan areas along the Eastern seaboard). And my experience was totally different from what yours apparently is. It was tough to be the breadwinner, the parent, the employer, the daughter, the friend, the co-worker -- even with a second pair of hands to help with chauffeuring the kids to school/preschool, grocery shopping, laundry, etc. After several years it was overwhelming so I became a stay-at-home single parent for a coupl of years, just to keep the kids on stable footing in their early school years. And that, too, was tough, even with assistance from my parents. But I'm grateful that I had help, and could afford help, because my son and daughter are now 21 and 19 years old and they are mentally, physically and spiritually healthy and stable. I have Carolyn, Amy and Karen -- the nannies over the years -- to thank for their part in this.

Parenting is 24/7, and if you are a single parent you are doing double duty. D, I'm sure that's you experience too, right?

What does K-Fed have to do with Tori?

34. Just like the folks who have nothing new to offer but the same old mantra "K-Fed should get a job" we've got the spellcheck wanks on this board who do nothing but criticize spelling and grammar, like "Pestis ." "Financial Analysis, " I for one get the substance of your post, and BTW I agree with you. Too many here just post comments based on what they surmise, not on what the facts are. And when all the facts are not available -- such as the actual diagnosis of Brit's illness or the source of Kevin's income or what are the communications behind closed courtroom doors, or what Jamie actually does as conservator -- too often people on this board just fabricate facts to support their personal views..

35. Oh, Yersinia Pestis, forgive me, too. I put two periods at the end of my sentence.

36. #25, yes I have experience, I too have a nanny and don't have any financial worries - parenthood is a breeze when you have help ... just because you couldn't handle it even with help, well, that seems to be something you need to work out for yourself. You whine too much, and should sound more grateful for what you have - make it work.

37. To Single Parent: I and many others indeed understand how much work it is to be a single parent, and you have a lot to be proud of.

If I might say so, however, you are missing the point of the statements that are being made here. Few, if any of the people here have any problems with single parents who hire nannies. They are just looking for any excuse to insult K-Fed, and so they will take any neutral fact about his life and try to turn it into something negative to dump on.

If K-Fed takes his kids to the aquarium, these people will say that he's doing so simply to bolster his image as a parent during his custody dispute with Britney.

If K-Fed goes to Las Vegas to earn money, they'll say that he's neglecting his family.

If K-Fed stays doesn't go to Las Vegas to earn money, they'll say that he's a deadbeat who isn't working.

If one day K-Fed is seen eating in a restaurant, they'll no doubt accuse him of abandoning his home and family just to satisfy his gustatory cravings.

If another day K-Fed is seen in a brown shirt, they'll probably say that he's recreating the European Fascist movement of the 1930's.

In other words, almost all of the anti-K-Fed comments here can be summarized as follows: "Don't confuse me with facts. I've already made up my mind."

38. we don't need excuses to hit on Kevin, he gives us plenty of ammunition - so what, he takes care of his kids, well, so do I and many other fathers. Trying to make him anything more than a freeloader is a waste of time. Truth is truth. Quit making him sound wonderful because he is doing what he should be doing, being a parent.

39. To Fort Worth: you don't try to make yourself out as some sort of master of "Rational Thought". Therefore, your typographical errors don't mark you as a hypocrite. The same can't be said about the would-be financial God who posted above.

I wholeheartedly agree!!!!! Those appearances on One Tree Hill and the modeling gigs pay way too much for so few hours of effort. K-Fed needs to keep himself occupied at a REAL job -- a MAN'S job, not a weenie's job -- something like, say, flipping burgers at the In-N-Out. Hey, he can serve Brit-Brit her burger and fries when she comes in on her daily run for calorie replenishment after working out at Bally's.

Who here has said anything about K-Fed being wonderful? Just because the majority of K-Fed's detractors are providing unthinking, knee-jerk characterizations of him, this doesn't make K-Fed into some sort of paragon of admirability.

He's just doing a better job with the kids than Britney is likely to have been able to do. That's not saying much.

42. Thanks, Lubbock. But I think you missed the thrust of my post. I was supporting rational thought and criticizing Ms. Spellchecker. I don't see the "would-be" that you do. His argument makes perfect sense and appears to come from some sort of training or work in a career that requires such analysis. My criticism was of the criticizer, who disregarded the substance of the post and focused on the minor errors that we are all guilty of committing.

44. KFED IS AS MUCH OF A SKANK AS BRITNEY. I WANT TO DO BOTH OF THEM.

45. To Ricky Ricardo Montalbán -- Posted at 12:17PM on May 31st 2008: Well stated!!! I couldn't have said it better. I was fortunate that no one was there to judge every single move I made (well, my mother offered her "suggestions, dear", but every mom does that). K-Fed lives under a microscope; he's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. For that matter, so is Britney. I think the people who are throwing stones should deadbolt the doors to their glass houses.
